Hi all,

Just curious if anyone is familiar with the Buddhist (or Hindi) idea of Devas and what you think of them.

When I hear people talk about seeing "jesters" in hyperspace it reminds me of "entities" I've seen, more on LSD that resemble the creature in the second picture on this webppage http://tribudragonthai.b...as-buddhist-angels.html

And I think they could be seen as similar to jesters...funky hats and whatnot.

Do Devas resemble anything you've seen in hyperspace? Can the Buddhsts beliefs about them be applied?

They don't look like the jesters I've seen, but...

Buddhist devas are not omniscient. Their powers tend to be limited and what is important they are not morally perfect. The devas of the lower worlds of the Kamadhatu experience the same kind of passions that humans do, including lust and anger.

I think this ^^ is rather telling of some of the jester-like entities I've encountered. They can have very human-like emotions and personalities.
