My cat has done some research,and has found a legit seller of mimosa online.She is very paranoid though,and wants to know about the legal risks of ordering it online in the EU.She read that packages don't get checked when shipped between eu countries,and that mimosa isn't illegal to begin with.But she has also heard some nasty stories about cops showing up at people's homes asking about their mimosa purchase.She was also wandering if it is safe to buy rue online along with the mimosa,because she read in some threads that it's a no no.Sorry for posting in this section,but since im not a full member i can't post in other similar threads and my cat is really curious

First of all, I suggest you tell your cat of for attempting to mess about with psychedelics. Psychedelics / drugs and cats are not a very good combination as most cats aren't equipped to handle it. Take away his MHRB and rue and use them yourself(in other words: the use of swim or a fictional character is not needed on these boards.

Secondly: I've ordered MHRB from within Europe. Customs opened my packaged(2kg) to check what was inside, they resealed it and send it on their way. I imported from Mexico. Chances are police won't come to your door asking about your MHRB purchase. Why would they? Purchasing 2kgs is hardly suspicious as it's also used for it's tannines as a natural coloring agent and even for make skin creme. IF you're really paranoid about it, look into how to extract the tannines OR how to make skin creme out of it.

The possibility of them opening your package is very slim, considering the large volume of mail processed each day. You shouldn't be worried.

as for cops turning up... if a police officer has somehow learned that you have ordered that stuff to your home, i would be very worried about how they found that out
(as it isnt illegal at all). i would be more worried about your internet connection being spied on.

i don't understand what you mean by my internet connection being spied on...plus where im from,things arent that much monitored anyway.My only worry is if i buy rue and mimosa,someone sees it because i use paypal,and some cop says "lets go knock on his door in 1 week".would be really bad

I was thinking about the possibility to give some explanations to the customs officers (if they will open my package)
or even to police, and what I could tell them.
Luckily my package went straight to my local postal office.

But in the eventuality we need to explain what is with that stuff, what can we say?
Some herbs for a tea? For some natural treatment?
What other herbs are looking very similar to caapi, chacruna, chaliponga, mhrb, rue but
that are clearly legal and not in a grey area.

When my package was sent the confirmation email said:
"We do not include any information with the package, and as some of the products you ordered may require essential additional information, this email will be useful when you receive your products. "
At that time I was thinking that means the bags will not be labeled with the name of the plants, but upon arrival I saw they had both the scientific name and popular name ( Diplopterys Cabrerana, chaliponga).

I was thinking to ask my vendor to not put any label on the bags inside the packages, or put some bogus one. Not sure if he can do that, how legal it will be.

this thread makes me i remember the first time i ordered enthogens online. i had this irrational paranoia that someone would open my mail, recognize the obscure plants, and care enough to pass it on to the authorities, who would then care enough to make a case from my small personal order.

one time i was at the post office picking up some powdered cactus (illegal preparation, no ifs ands or buts about it) so im standing in line, a bit worried but trying to keep my cool. Suddenly i hear police sirens and im freaking out man!! the lady in front of me takes out her cell phone and answered the call. The whole situation was rather ironic but long story short, i picked up my order without issue. There's a lot of mail received each day. they couldn't possibly look through each one. especially in europe, people ship grips of RCs and god knows what else thru the post. you really have nothing to worry about.

I'm always prepared to say these herbs are for preventive cancer treatment, and that I have no idea what these plants are exactly. You shouldn't be making up a too complicated story - better go with vague answers, and that you've read all sorts of stuff on the web.
Hopefully you'll have no problems! If the plants are legal in your country, you shouldn't worry at all, just have an innocent explanation, if a problem arises.

If the use of swim or fictional characters is not needed, why is this forum full with it? I believe that any new person who has read some posts and whant to participate will be tempted to use them as well, just because almost everybody else does it...

Ive also received powdered cactus on a regular basis in the past. I had always thought powdered cactus was illegal but it turns out its not in the UK at least though im pretty sure powdered mimosa is now but not the bark in the UK, maybe someone will confirm this. I agree with you that you have nothing to worry about, the police are more likely to be busy looking at dealers of hard drugs in the EU than the odd kg of plant material. If you meant that cops would let you pick up the package and then come to your door a week later, just use a marker and write "Return to sender", "Wrong address" or something like that on the envelope. After 10 days, open it.
