If you are trying to use salvia for it's anti-depressive effects, then plain foliage is the way to go! If you can get some plain ol dried salvia, that would work the best, IMO.
- Much easier to dose, just load a bowl, chances are you really wont feel much the first couple of times
- It has reverse-tolerance, so the more you smoke it, the less you need for moar healing.
- It is also anti addictive, I have found myself having to convince myself I need some.
If you do one or two big pulls at night for a couple weeks, I guaruntee that by the end of the second week you will be delving deep with a simple toke.
But if you decide to treat your depression this way, please keep track of yourself. If you feel it helping, then awesome! But if it starts seeming to do more harm then good, I.E. depersonalization, then stop. Your body provides ample feedback if you listen.
Let the plants guide you, for they teach lessons beyond what we humans can offer.
