Used a simple straight to base extraction on 30g of mimosa hostilis root bark
1) Ground the bark
2) Mixed 250ml of water with 5-6g of Lye
3) Added mimosa. Shook vigorously, let to sit for an hour.
4) Added 50ml of V&M Naptha
5) Shook vigorously
6) Let sit overnight. Shook again. Let sit again.
7) Seperated naphta with a turkey baster into shallow ceramic plate
Froze overnight
9) There were some crystals, let the remaining naptha evap at room temperature. More crystals.
Shitty yield, wasnt expecting much, bout enough for one trip I think.
The question is this: A bunch of specks of the black lye/mimosa mix came into the ceramic dish. Not much at all, but visible. Bout a water drops worth. Is it safe to smoke this? What are the chances of there being a significant amount of lye in this to cause damage?
Yeah the ideal thing would be to just not smoke it, but if it isn't too probable that this could be hazardous ill probably smoke it anyway.
Thanks
EDIT: Added pics of my product. Does it look pure enough to smoke? I don't have a scale ill probably get one if I like the DMT trip and make more, but how many trips worth does this look like? How do I eyeball a breakthrough dose? The paper its on is a standard A4 printer paper.
