right so i just want to check i have everything right?

im in the UK so im picking up my IPA from superdrug pharmacy tommorow. I intend to have a ratio of 2:1 Leaf to DMT ratio. want it to just be nice and mellow; .3 DMT freebase, .3 Blue lotu, .3 passion flower.

the plan is to cover the mixed herbs in IPA, just above their height in a glass. once the IPA is in, i plan to sprinkle the DMT in, mix the herbs around in the glass fully and then hope that all of the DMT is infused in the herb when it evaporates.

Although, im curious to know how to stop the freebase just recrystalising in the glass? does this happen a lot? is there ways of stopping this?

Yeah man you got it right. Simple procedure really, no worries.

Stir the mixture while evaporating every so often.

If any DMT gets left behind, rub some herb on it and smoke that when all is said and done.

I just made my first 'enhanced smoke' but used acetone. Nothing really stuck to the glass. Have'nt sampled though so let us know how it was.

Whats the name of the IPA from superdrug?

I Didn't know they sold it but it would be handy

basicaly, i went up to the pharmacy and asked for rubbing alcohol. they mentioned IPA and i said yeah- iso something. Said i needed to use it for cleaning disks so could do with 90% plus and they ordered some OTC version. At any right, i havnt got it in my hand so dont know the exact name.

I've heard it's best to wait couple days to make sure all of the acetone/IPA has evaporated? Or is overnight enough?

Or you can use a fan and it will take just a few hours or even less than that I made a special drying tool from PC fan and it works great. I did not need to wait so long and the changa was dried properly

but I guess waiting till next day wont kill

the superdrug brand isopropyl-alcohol is Ransom brand?

ransom naturals i believe? hopefully it'l do the job. did an evap test, it cleaned up very quickly with no residue, though a tiny noticable outline of where it dried from. hopefuly theres no harm in that.

That's not really changa but rather enhanced leafs, the amount of harmalas is probably gonna be negligible, you should add some caapi/rue extracts!

ahh, evap is rediculous and giving me headaches! I have a certain timeframe so ive changed it from a glass to a bowl. the solvent has spread out a lot, hopefuly i wont be left with crystals around the the leaf.

Justine, i know its not quite changa, taking things slow. if this works out well ill be on to the next extract and have some proper stuff to toke. just getting my feet wet!

Hey unanswered, 2 things,....uno, if youre getting headaches from solvent evapping put the bowl in a better ventilated room and...and B; someone please feel free to correct me if im wrong, but if the solvent leaves traces after full evaporation, theres crap in that solvent.

wasnt crap, just maybe an outline on the mirror. i think it could have been through my impatience.

still evaping in the bowl. hopefuly itl be done by tomorow and i can get some pictures up!

But what else would that outline be? I would assume it to be crap that was in the solvent that doesnt evap away,...

Well, i think its safe to say iv messed this one up!

i used some of the cleanest dmt ive ever seen. Litteraly pure white, totaly powdered. after putting it from a glass to a bowl (to allow evap to go faster) im left with a yellow film around the bowl.

could this be fats or anything from the leafs themselves? it hasnt totaly dried, leaves are still damp. im just hoping this wasnt a total waste...

thats fine. rub the oils on some herb. this happens.

Relax, you can't mess this up In the worst case you can just add solvent, stir and evap again!

By the way, with a fan blowing at low on my acetone it evaps quite fast, let's say in an evening, of course I do this at my window.
