I would like to thank everyone who contributes to DMT Nexus, this is one of the most precious resource on the subject! I was a little disappointed to see it was closed yesterday It is so complete that I have no question to ask so far... Q21Q21 made it so simple to extract DMT! I have been digging a lot about extraction and smoking processes, the experience itself... I will repeat myself but thank you so much for making this available to the neophytes!

Concerning my person, I am a 25 years old French Québecker from Canada, I studied arts and letters and I am currently studying to become a laboratory technician... I became interested in psychedelics 7 years ago and sadly in the midst of this, I stumbled into any sort of drugs. My life became a true hell. You know how a psychedelic trip always seem to get deeper and deeper? My pain followed a similar pattern... I will keep this short: I am mostly done with my benzodiazepines withdrawals, cleared with opiates and amphetamines. I have been craving for oxyocodone though... it came over my mind that I could give DMT a try after learning it was used to treat addicts in atypical therapies. It's either this or evil substances... the best choice is obvious to me!

I have had breakthroughs +4 from 4-Ho-DIPT years ago... It was just pure awe to be in a body of light, to pass through Buddhist mandalas doors of energy to finally emerge into this place that seemed like Eternity, so real that it was obvious it was much more real than consensual reality... just to end up coming back and wondering if it was insanity... and then finding myself back into this place and so on. It was just beautiful! I was an atheist before a powerful psilocybin experience... I have no doubt DMT will be even much more than anything I have experienced! I only hope that it doesn't get as scary as 5-MeO-DMT can be! Is there any addicts here that had good results in treating themselves with DMT?

Are you still addicted to any of the substances you mention or have you come clean?

Furthermore I would not recommend using freebase DMT for your purposes but advice you to try ayahuasca, that's the way it’s used to cure addiction, through "La Purga" and spiritual reflection.

Freebase is for me at least mainly just a powerful psychedelic, visually and audibly, it's nowhere as cleansing as a good dose of the traditional medicine

Evisceratechuck, to answer you, I have been free from stimulants since July 2011 and from opiates (hydromorph / oxycodone) since December... my doctor tapered me down from lorazepam to diazepam and I took my last dose December 15th. It was unpleasant but I am ~80% recovered. I know traditional Ayahuasca is used in addiction therapy... but I'm seriously not interested in purging at the moment. I think indigenous has their ways of doing things with what is within their grasp... and western culture has theirs.

I am definitely interested by Pharmahuasca, but I want to try freebase DMT first and see where it gets me and move on if necessary. I am interested in healing, but as much by profound insightful transcendental psychedelic states. It could be that I am trying to switch a substance for another one, but I don't share that point of view. I don't want to go back into withdrawals and in the misery of street drugs... I remember when I had synthetic phenethylamines / tryptamines, I would trip once in a while, enjoy the after-glow, integrate and leave the remaining drugs without touching it for a while. This is what I aim for without using obscure synthetic psychedelics.

JuremaSpaceship, yes I read about ibogaine but I haven't got too much into details... it does seem very interesting. When my financial situation will allow it, I would be pleased to give it a try! If I had the money and spoke Spanish I would go to the Takiwasi center in Peru but it's not possible.

I will see how things go... and report back in a month or so... as a funny side-note, the night before I dreamt I was pulling off crystals from naphta and the next night I was smoking it with the strangest smoking device I have ever seen! Thanks again and good afternoon!

Yes DMT helped me and I'm sure many others escape and reflect on the patterns of opiate addiction for a few precious moments in hyperspace. The increase in general awareness seems to allow one to see through the self imposed lies that one imposes during addiction. I know it was a big part in me gaining the perspective and motivation to finally kick. Good luck with the Benzo's man I hear its a battle. Hope all your self-imposed handicaps are behind you and can no longer impede the flow of life force.
