I've been smoking 10-12.5 mg doses quite a bit doing controlled experiments with a dosage that is visionary yet not overwhelming.
Anyway I've pleasantly got into the habit of sitting through well after the visuals stopped and almost in a gently dissociated way brought into thoughts about past events, not too unlike when I lay down and go to bed.
The thing is that I am an over-analyzer and I have a habit of turning past neutral events into negative ones and unpleasantly loop the negative ones. I'm working on that and definitely making progress, just noted that because in this post-smoking state not surprisingly my thoughts are all very positive.
What is a little more noteworthy is that I have thought about and relived (like before bed) some rather unpleasant events in a positive way.
While I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to smoke a breakthrough dose and not feel like I am being attacked by the torturous mal-formed non-breakthrough visions, I know that in this way DMT is working reliably for the good.
