I was wondering if a MFLB is good to use for dmt. Should I get a specific vape?(not GVG).

Also, whats the best heat to set it to?

dont use a mflb for dmt. it wont work properly. its designed for cannabis. not resins, oils liquids or powders that melt.

it wouldnt heat up fast enough nor would it give you a proper hit.

just curious, why not gvg?

If its related to money, why not try making your own, something like the inspirator mkII from amor fati?

I've never tried the inspirator but I've heard really good things about it.
I have tried the machine. Its cheap, simple and ALWAYS worked for me everytime.
Maybe not as efficient as the gvg but much more simple to use.
An excellent teleportation device for very little money IMO.

My buddy has a GVG, and we've been having trouble getting proper hits from it. Alot of time the spice ends up getting burnt.

Is there a vape that is good to use for spice?

In regards to the gvg, a few of my friends have said the similar thing, I've found cleanliness of all the parts and proper technique offer wonderous hits.

What kind of lighter are you using? When I first got my GVG, it was a bit of trouble because I was just using lots of screens instead of a few screens with an ash bed/herb bed or mesh. Also the lighter is a big deal. I went through 3 expensive butane torch lighters, and they were all terrible for the GVG. I'm sure they would be great for doing what they're designed for, but it wasn't for the GVG. With the GVG, you have to use your lighter upside down, and most butanes aren't meant to be lit upside down so it creates a whole host of problems. What you need is the Arc torch lighter. If you've got a GVG, an Arc torch lighter, and either an ash bed, an herb bed or a copper mesh, then using it should become like cake. You'll also wanna make sure your ceramic filter isn't clogged with soot (which will look like brown spots on the blackish-gray ceramic.

GVG just needs to be set up properly, and used with a decent lighter (I have an Arc and can verify that it works perfectly). Once you have sorted that out, nothing could be better for administering sacred vapors It may be an expensive option, but if you have the $$, then it is the best option IMHO

Sorry to resurrect this thread but it must be done. Today I decided to actually try using the mflb for dmt and it did indeed work. I took a small piece of paper towel and put it in the bottom of the trench. I then put the dmt directly unto the paper towel. I have the wall adapter, which I set to the maximum heat. I held it down without breathing and the dmt melted within a second or two and immediatly started smoking. I hit it for maybe 5-10 seconds before I stopped getting vapor. I was pissed because I thought there was no way I could have gotten the full hit in 5-10 seconds. Jesus...I was wrong. Like 2 seconds after putting the mflb down I sat back and enjoyed some intensely colorful wall melting madness. This was with 20 milligrams.

There is one problem, and that is that paper towel is very nasty smelling when heated up. I would recommend using something else, however I cant think of what. Maybe a bed or weed or something.

Oh and don't worry about clogging the screen, you can't with dmt. Worst case scenario it will fall through to the bottom.
