I'm very new to this and am looking for a basic dmt crystal recipe for smoking purposes. I've looked on the forums but i am not sure which is best for my purpose.

I recommend reading the Health & Safety article first, followed by Shaolin's advice on the FAQ and then do a lot more reading of the various TEKs and warnings. Prepare yourself, do a dry run extraction(without using anything, just pretend you're doing everything to make sure you understand it) and then do the actual extraction. The spice extends life.
The spice expands consciousness.
The spice is vital to space travel.

I am not so sure a dry run extraction is a good use of time. Investing lots of time to reading definitely is though. I spent months absorbing information on here (possibly a bit overkill) before I even bothered trying to extract. My first extraction was stupidly large for a beginner and it went smoothly. STB extractions have less steps in them so you may wish to start there (look up Nomans Tek for a good one). To be honest if I was to start again I would dive straight in to the slightly more complicated option, A/B extraction, just for the fact that the volumes of liquid and base are not so ridiculously large.
