DMT is by far one of the toughest substances to research and find legitimate information on! I would like to know the proper/fastest/easiest way to convert freebase (smokeable) DMT to it's salt/hydrochloride form? I want to be able to inject this into my muscle (IM). Would I also be able to IV it in this form? Just wondering on the IV. The more simple the terms the better, please.
I read somewhere to add citric acid (I'll be using lime juice from a real lime) and something about waiting 30 minutes...what I've read has been rather unclear.. I have about 3 grams by the way (if that helps to give insight as to how much X or Y to add).

Last night I did 1 gram with lime juice and water (neither measured), then administerd via IM. It stung but I tripped. The spot where I administered most of it is a little tender (like a "miss" type deal) but nothing too bad.

I'd post this in the "OTHER" forum section where this would fit in better but I'm not allowed to post there yet. Please don't delete....I really would like clarification on HOW TO MAKE THIS WATER SOLUBLE OR READY FOR PROPER IM ADMINISTRATION. :-) Thanks.

I really think this is a bad idea... It can be ingested in so many other ways that are much less dangerous for a multitude of reasons.

If you're going to do anything aside from smoking its vapours, you should probably just take it orally with a MAOI.

uhhhh..there are a number of reasons as to why this is a BAD BAD BAD idea. For one thing You are NOT using lab grade DMT..BAD IDEA! Lemon juice?!!!!!!

You could be injecting solvent impurities into yourself man..especially if you used naptha or xylene to extract that spice..you DO NOT want to be injecting that stuff!

Theres alot of potential hazards to your health injecting DMT which Im assuming you've extracted yourself.The difference in effect between IV administration and correctly vaporised DMT, having adjusted the dose to account for the ROA, is really not that great, and the risks outweigh any benefits.

If I were you, I would perhaps think about vaporising a bigger dose, or use sublingual harmalas before vaping to extend the trip a little.Irrespective of how you take your DMT, be sensible and measure your doses.

Shouldn't we have something in the health + safety section that deals with this?

It just pops up quite a lot and it's probably time there was something a little more set in stone.

The fact of the matter is, if someone was competent enough to prepare a sterile IV, they would not be here asking these questions.

Please don't inject that.

1 gram?! You could seriously hurt yourself. There's nothing that IV can do that you can't get by smoking or oral administration with an MAOI.

I just hate smoking anything and was aware that it could be administered via IM or IV. I was just trying to figure out how to get there. I first learned if DMT two years ago and finally got some from a friend. I'm not really familiar with extraction methods or conversions from one form to another. I have tried countless web searches but there always seems to be gaps of information.

Take your time and read up good on this website.
And strongly reconsider your desire to inject DMT. Just eat it!

You can also snort it. It will burn a bit, but at least it isn't as dangerous as injecting. Be safe!

Yeah, I won't be injecting anything until I can do so safely. Wish I had something to read the PH with to know when the acidity levels weren't a factor anymore. It burned like hell last time and to anyone who finds this thread searching for the same answers I was- just eat it. It was seriously some of the worst pain I ever felt in my life.

I'm now off to browse the boards on how to make dmt citrate active (if not already) and edible now.
