Good day folks!

Just made what is, compared to my previous brews, what I can only describe as a SUPER brew. Normally, I use just vine. This time, however, I have added Shiric Snango and maybe 20g (eyeballed) Chaliponga. The vine is 500g of Cielo. The last i got was white and it was a bit mild, wo Im hoping this will be a niver vine (and Ive heard Cielo can be real strong).

As a side note, I think the Chali is quite mild, as it was on special offer and when I tried it with Rue it did nothing. I am aware of its reputation as being quite strange.

Still, I am hoping this will be stronger. However, does anyone have any experience with Shiric Sanango? I am aware it is a triditional admixture but have no real clue what it DOES. What I am I to expect? I used a small amount - 25g of dried wood to 500g Caapi.

Thank you kindly for any replies Smile

So to be clear..you have tabernaemontana sananho? "sanango" in the amazon is a name used for a variety of different plants used as admixtures..some containing deadly tropanes. Be careful and make sure you know exactly what it is you have becasue chiric sanango and shiric sanango are 2 different things and people often confuse the 2.

Well its from a trusted source, and yes its called Tabernaemontana sananho. Some have suggested that this source may have them mixed up... I am confused though - from what I have read this is described as either a flower, leaf or bark - what I have is shredded wood - so I am guessing (and hoping) whatever it is it poses little threat?

I think the does i have is small anyway - for a 50g cielo dose, it is only 2.5g of this wood in ratio.

Also, I think I may have killed whatever may kill me in it - apparently the shamans add the Sanango only at the reduction stage - this wood was boiling for about 10 hours with the rest of the stuff!

Tabernaemontana sananho, the way it is used traditionally concerns the roots. I have heard of the shredded bark or wood on the market that a very reliable vendor does sell..but I have also read that that stuff is not potent at all compared to the roots. The shamans use the roots. Though I think it was dreamer who told me that he has used the bark or wood from that vendor and said 3g of it in an ayahuasca brew had some effects..I could be wrong though maybe he had roots..you should ask him.

Well I drank some last night. The brew is certainly super. Got about 3 hours intense visuals (fractals, amazing intricacy, eyes everywhere). The last caapi I had was white, and I think pretty bunk - needed about 80g to do what 25g of this cielo did. But then I did take 2x25g - it was after the second dose that real lift off occurred.

On the question of the Shiric Sanango, there was a marked feeling of coldness, shivering - but then it was a pretty cold night. Will have to try it again on a warmer night I guess.
