Hey all,

fairly new to this forum. Ive been reading up on A/B extractions latley and im considering starting my first one tomorrow, I live in Australia and i have my eyes set on what ive identified as Phalaris Aquatica growing around the area i live in along lakes and marshes.

I am just wondering how much i should harvest, like would say 2kg of this plant yeild enough dmt for a few trips, being that ive followed every step on extraction correctly.

Do you know how to isolate DMT from this plant ? It seems there is more compounds present. "The acute toxicity of Phalaris aquatica (also known as P. tuberosa, Harding grass) is purported to be due to three alkaloids that are present: gramine, 5-MeO-DMT, and hordenine (Bourke et al., 198Cool, though other phenethylamines have also be implicated (Culvenor el al. 2005; Bourke et al., 200Cool"

Wiki and a good thread
Got GVG ? Mhm. Got DMT ?

Hi mitchw92! Are you experienced at all in extractions? I ask because, as Shaolin noted, there are other compounds in Phalaris grass that could be potentially harmful to your health. I don't want to deter you from trying an extraction from phalaris, because if you are successful it would be invaluable to the community. However, since you live in Australia, maybe try looking for one of the many Acacias that DMT is present in.

Check out this thread and this thread to learn more about Acacias in your country. Good luck!
