If it really bothers you atypical antipsychotics tend to help.

and all of a sudden someone shouted my name loud and the voice was so clear I jumped out of my dream to answer....nobody?? I live alone and my GF was at her house. My windows were closed. The person was familiar, female and commanding. They also use my full first name witch no one does unless I'm in troubleSad. I told people about it an got the usual reply your over tired, oh maybe it was a ghost...blah, so I put it down to a crazy dream.

This sort of thing just happened to me last night. I couldn't sleep and so went to my basement to sleep on the couch and listen to coast to coast am, which usually puts me right to sleep. In falling asleep I got a strong feeling of being watched. I had a feeling it was a house sprite, or whatever name you'd give to it, my wife and I half believe lives here. (I have pictures of an egg I found once balanced on end.)

I felt he was going to play tricks on me when I fell asleep, but was too tired to care. I dreamed I was watching coast to coast on TV, slowly the dream world and real world merged so that I felt my leg was asleep. I moved it and opened my eyes. I actually opened them in the real world but stayed dreaming. I saw a huge spider crawling right at my face. I jumped up and tried to kill it, but it was gone. I looked all over for where it had gone till I realized the spider was too big to have been real and the things that had happened just prior didn't make sense either so must have been a dream.

I went back to sleep and had normal kind of dreams. It was the type of dreams where I'm just observing, like I was watching a TV show. Then a woman in the dream turns right at me and says out loud, like really out loud so I could hear it, not dream telepathy, "You KNOW me." She said it like someone who was kind of hurt I forgot who she was and was trying to make me remember her. She completely broke dream continuity. Like she was tired of the charade and just wanted me to remember her again. I have no idea who she was but I got up and was awake because I really heard her voice. At that point I noticed the computer I was using to play the radio was in the process of rebooting itself for no apparent reason.

It's kind of left me a little unsettled.

Apparently seeing spiders whilst in the half sleep mode is normal/common, I am sure someone mentioned it in my first thread about hallucinating without DMT witch I provided a link to in the OP.

I just had another one happen. I had a sleep this afternoon (I am working weird hours) and kept getting text messages on my phone witch broke my sleep, just as I was trying to get back to sleep it happened again. But this time it was pretty chilled even though super clear in volume. I cant remember what was said but it was a comment on the dream I was having, but this time I didn't flinch I knew what happened and tried to get back to sleep but it happened like four times until I was totally alert then stopped. I am not as worried as before but would like it to stop, especially the ridiculous amount of dreams I have in one night.

The woman turning to you and saying that would have freaked me out....but at least you saw yours the voice I heard first time had nothing to do with my dream, it just interrupted. Lets see what the next few night have in store for you.

This interview might be of interest on the subject of hearing things during sleep:

The guy, Daan van Kampenhout, is practicing shamanic techniques and says he learned shamanic melodies from spirits during sleep or when praying. A sample melody also available on YouTube at:

This is something I have experienced too on many occasions since I began taking drugs.

Are you serious guys, I would call that a psychosis if you have visions, voices etc. at daytime without taking drugs. I'm seriously rethinking taking DMT if this is "normal". I took mushrooms about 20 times and 1 cacti in the last 8 years and I had NEVER ANY flashbacks etc. and I really don't want to get them. Imagine driving a car and all of a sudden there is a voice or curtain droping down or whatever. I mean ok when you are on psychedelics you know this will be over in X hours, if it's bad or good, makes sense or no sense, doesn't matter, but having such an experience in the middle of the day? How could you be ever again shure if that what you see is real or just some kind of dream?
Any spelling or grammar mistakes? Please help me to improve my English and write me a PM. Just write what is wrong and how the rule is.
