are the crystals supposed to melt? Options

There was a decent ammount of white crystally stuff caked on the inside of my jar but after freeze precipitation, but when i poured the shellite off, they soon just melted and puddled on the bottom..?
 

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

That just means it's a little oily, and probably warm in your room. Consume as normal!

When you pour it off, make sure you've poured off absolutely as much as possible, and then put it back in the freezer for good measure. You don't have to put it back, but if you're already having melting problems, it won't hurt. Leave it in there for another 5 minutes, transfer it to the fridge for five minutes and finally take it out. When you do take it out, find some way to prop up your jar so it rests at a 45 degree angle. This will allow all the excess shellite to pool in one corner which after waiting a bit, you can easily and safely pour off again. Wait till your crystals no longer look wet and smell of shellite, and then it's time to scrape up your sacrament.
