Hi all,

well this is my 5th attempt and i believe i need some help identifying were i am going wrong.

6g mimosa, 5g syrian rue

Mimosa: done for 40mins, repeated 3 times
Rue: done for 40mins, repeated twice (that stuff tastes awful!)

I am intoxicated and getting very very faint black and white visions but is as far as it goes, the first few times i was using caapi copy as an maoi and had the same results and now with the rue i am getting the same thing which makes me think it could possibly be the mimosa i have which is the problem

After decanting the mimosa i am left with a clear red wine coloured liquid which is actually pretty easy to drink and some dirty muddy looking stuff left in the other glass, should i be sticking the clear liquid like i am or ingest the muddy stuff also?


Ps. i have some pictures of my preperation but can't see an option to upload any pics, could someone point me in the correct direction and i will upload them which may or may not help.

Is the mimosa from reputable supplier? If not, that might be one possible reason

Are you drinking both at the same time? Maybe consider waiting some minutes (like 30) before drinking mimosa.

Do you take any medication regularly? Are you drinking on empty stomach or full or medium?

What kind of metabolism do you have, do you usually need higher doses with substances compared to others?

I'm just making sure that you drank the rue first and then the mimosa. Your post is a bit ambiguous and would suggest otherwise. If you drink the mimosa first, it will not work. You must drink the rue first followed by the mimosa.

Yeah i drank the Rue 30mins before the mimosa, i had not eaten for 6 hours prior, about an hour after all was drank i had eaten a small piece of bread as suggested on other post.

I take no medication, i do usually need higher doses of substances compared to others, does the faint black and white visions sound like a low does?

I am not sure if the supplier is reputable or not tbh, not sure if i am allowed to post the name here?

Could having the mimosa in an air tight bag stored in a cool place for 3-4months decrease the potency?

I am considering try again tonight but so maybe a double dose of the mimosa could do the trick.

My mimosa sits around in an airtight bag in darkness for a lot longer than that and it's always been fine. That said, it could be a bad source to begin with. Based on your dose, you should have had a decent experience, but perhaps next time, you'll make double, but drink half so that way if it's not working, you can drink more mimosa and see if that works. Alternatively if you have any DMT freebase or changa lying around, you can smoke that, and that should get things moving along. If that experience only turns out to be a "normal" DMT experience in terms of potency and duration, then it's your rue that's the problem.

What would be an ideal does for rue and the best method of preparing?

previously i prepared 5g simmered for 40mins twice, does this sound about right?

It sounds like you're doing your boiling for too short. Perhaps you'd like to try at minimum 3 1-hour boils.
