A couple of nights ago I had a beer with dinner and a glass of wine afterwards-- I wasn't tipsy, but was definitely feeling it. Later that evening I fired up some very caapi changa with a friend, and after a couple of crazy experiences I noticed that the changa had potentiated the alcohol in my system, and I was actually a little drunk! That wasn't much of an issue, except when I woke up the next morning I had one of the worst hangovers I can remember! I even had to stay in bed for a few more hours than normal to sleep it off... so be warned, vaped caapi leaves can act as an effective MAOI in more ways than one! ¤ø¸โø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸โø¤º°¨¨°º¤ø¸โø¤º¨

I had a night-long session with a caapi 20x changa one time in 2010. Even without alcohol or anything nasty in my system I still had a pretty solid headache until I went to sleep again the next evening.
You can definately easily overdo it with smoked harmaloids.

Too heavy on the harmalas can make one very sedated. But swims noticed that changa actually gets rid of the feeling of intoxication from alcohol and generally leaves people feel very clear headed the next day. I'm surprised you guys can drink ANY alcohol with Changa. I found out the hard way that alcohol + smoked harmalas = nasty painful headache. I should have researched it beforehand, but I found out after that harmalas and alcohol causes headaches, but I guess it's not true for everyone! For the record, I'd only had two strong dark beers with the changa when I noticed the horrible headache. I didn't experience a hangover though. But I don't drink alcohol except maybe a couple times a year. I don't think I'll ever make another 20x changa (10-12x is nice though). Not only does it leave me with a bit of a hangover but the experience itself can be uncomfortable, almost painful (mentally, physically, both?) a heavy sickly electric pressure. Its the MeICNU

I just refrain from indulging if I've been drinking. A couple of beers / glasses of wine is my cut off point as I'm a bit of a lightweight. Can't say that I have had a headache after smoalking with this approach, and I like fairly harmala heavy Changa. I do find that if I drink dark beer and smoke weed that I usually get a stonking head ache, which I put down to the tannins in the beer. Worth noting maybe. I've smoked changa while intoxicated on alcohol and felt the opposite actually. It really sobered me up a bit. I didn't find any negative effects from the changa and it was from my batch with 100mg of caapi alkaloids and 500mg DMT infused into 500mg herbs.

Recently I was 3/4 through a strong rum and coke, and realized my IPA had fully evaporated from 250 mg spice and 500 mg caapi. Went though half of that in about an hour, the next day I had no hangover/ headache feeling whatsoever. I don't know how 20x caapi would've changed things, but that's my 2 cents
