Now for the remainder of what needs to be said.
This setup is fragile so it would be best to have a small table to set it down on and as I said before this doesn't beat the vapor genie in portability obviously.
Despite the similarity between the lightbulbs method of heating and the skillet, the skillet would still be much more efficient because with the lightbulb the entire interior is a surface for the liquidized dmt to move on escaping continual heat necessary for vaporization. Though with the quartz skillet, shown in the picture above, the dmt stays in one place and your suction picks up all the vapor without it circling around like in a lightbulb.
Back to the GVG, it was borrowed from a friend and I asked for the extra screens. He does not partake in dmt just cannabis so he gets by using a bic lighter. I went to the local tobacco shop and picked up a torch lighter for the process. It did not have trouble lighting in all directions as long as the butane tank was completely full so for that attempt there wasn't a problem. Once I came back from my experience completely sober 30 mins later the screens did not warp but there was residue at the hole where the air flows through. So I got some percentage of the total 60 mgs.
I guess I will borrow it from my friend again but try with less screens and a bed of pre-vaporized herbal material to see if this is truly an improvement.
My only other question, those that have stated "It should only take 20 mgs to do the job", have you accurately measured your doses? If it is so that 20 does the job then why would Erowid say 60 mgs?
Well I will have to see then around spring, because for me winter is to gloomy effecting my total outlook (cold, cloudy), I'd rather snowboard my frustration away and wait till mother nature can comfort me in a sea of peaceful greens.
