Checking the logs of the chat I see you stated the following:

After the chat-ban you make this thread and ask why you were banned, this shows that you think it is normal that you state things about raping 15 year old girls and that is quite alarming. Also know that your "I´ve shown nothing but respect imo" cannot be taken seriously after your rape remark.

Now lets answer some of your questions:

A: You stated something very disrespectful and alarming, you were suspended for that for one day. When that day of suspension is over then you can come back and try to explain it.

A: The purpose of this is that you will learn that stating such things are not tolerated on the DMT-Nexus (and hopefully also not outside the DMT-Nexus). You also should have known that such things are not tolerated, a quick glance at the forum would have shown you that.


Another thing I don't get is why you come back in the chat with different user accounts when it is clear that you are banned for a day for stated reasons. The part you quoted from the chat is after the so many-th time you come back and still you wonder why people react that way?

Again, if it were me who was online at that moment together with the remarks you made in this thread you would have been gone for a way longer time.

Dude, that was a warning, you're still using the forum, right? And you will be able to use Chat later on, so seems like you will have full Nexus privileges back fairly soon. No need to make a fuss.

To be honest I can sympathise with the level of humour where things like that can be said in jest (im assuming it was just some kind of "joke" you were making, but I havent seen the context). I know plenty of people, myself included, who have a bit of a sick sense of humour... but there is a time and a place. This site is neither and I cant see how you can be debating the fairness of such a leniant punishment. I would have thought it would be clear to anyone (or at least any relatively mature adult) that randomly hitting out with statements like that, amongst a group of strangers, is not cool.

Next time don's say such disturbing things, if you do this again you are gone forever. Think before you post something.

You also seem to be unable to see the difference between something as just cursing in the chat for which you will receive a warning, and talk about rape: something that will get you kicked immediately regardless of what explanation you might have.

If you don't understand this then I'm afraid that you don't belong here.

this is a great site and community.
but its also the face of DMT on the internet. that's why the Attitude guidelines are what they are.
so that its a pleasant place to come for everyone.
rape is a bit of a touchy subject, with topics like that, especially about younger girls, you just dont know who could be in the chat.
there are people from ALL walks of life who have been through a lot. maybe even rape.

not the kind of thing to be brought up in a chatroom where people often are tripping.
i've been temporarily kicked 3 times now for slight misunderstandings as well as language. im still learning, but i dont mean to cause offence to anyone. i keep my lingo clean 90% now

not as bad as talking about raping minors, mind you.
but nevermind. life is a learning process. dark humour can be fun, but use your noodle.
think about what you say and the possible outcomes and how it may affect readers before you say it.

well, i dont know the context of the whole thing but next time just ask if you can use this or that and if you forget, then just accept the very mils warning.
i for myself ask "can i discuss this" "can i ask that" if i am not sure. perhaps this is a little annoying for house or traveler or who is in there but at least i dont trouble other members.
if i wanted to discuss "rape play" (this is a consentual pracitce with some SM folks) then i will aks, if i can discuss it (which i didnt do here but i guess the context and intention of my last sentence is clear)

next time say:

Interesting thread. As one who has complained about hostile environments in chat before I just want to say I really, really appreciated both RebornInSmoke and Darkunft's replies here. And the mods - you know me - I got rep for complaints in this dept - the mods have been ultra reasonable in both taking time to explain things AND in response/consequences.

Inhale, please try to understand that this is a diverse community. High school is over. In my mind that comment of yours is extremely hostile at a minimum to any victims of rape (regardless of age or gender), parents of minors, teenagers, men against violence against women, people tripping face, etc., etc., etc. If you cannot see or get that I'm not confident you will do well here over time.
