Greetings fellow travelers.

Good to be on here. Full-time invested in plants and their energies - psychoactive or not, alkaloid or not. Within the Western Alchemical tradition, of which I have been trained, every plant in the Herbal kingdom has an innate Spirit, Soul and Body with it's own signature, it's own virtues, and it's own purpose. Entheogens are just noticeably more powerful - not just bioactive but psychoactive. Possibly too much, but this is why we use them. Although I consider myself matured past the level of chasing after entheogens and their experiences on a seemingly non-stop venture towards more levels of awakening that I no longer feel is necessary, I have now returned more informed, I guess, than before, and with a more mature outlook.

Currently interested in Acacias and the use of their Spice within the bioenergetic, geographic locale of my native Australia. Not only do I think that entheogens aren't the solution to all the world's problems, I don't even think they are the solution to all the 'Mind/Body/Spirit''s problems. Precisely because, you have to put in the work. Still, something I think that is worth studying. Lose interest in it and I feel like I'm getting boring - become manic about them and I feel instantly I am suffering the fate of so many entheonauts I've known - lost on a delusion that they need to experience 'everything' and 'every type of trip' without taking the time to experience the deep implications of these experiences on every level of their being. What happens when you become overloaded with experience that you don't have time to assimilate? You suffer endless wandering without ever arriving anywhere. As if we need that in our information-saturated times. What happens when you no longer have a spirituality outside of entheogens, or of any sort of information-saturation? You die a slow death inside from redundancy.

They aren't our magical little helpers, they've always been around, they are not the solution to anything. But, every now and then they can help to open doors. This is why I am here.

Very glad to see the charmingly erudite language from all of you here, tells of real knowledge and education. Look forward to reading and contributing. At least for a while - I may continue to lurk!

Live plants. Sustainable, ethically sourced, native American owned.
