Hello all Smile

I am brand new to the nexus, thanks to a friend that directed me here.

I met a the dmt spirit for a slit second on spice and would like to make a nice brew of rue and mimosa to fully meet this spirit.
I plan on using this recipe, the first one on the page... http://www.erowid.org/chemicals...ca/ayahuasca_info1.shtml

I wanted some opinions on the recipe.. advice, anything Smile

Right now I think my only questions are, Is 8 grams of powdered mimosa good for this recipe or it talking about starting with shredded mimosa, is there any difference? All I have is powdered.

And, how much water and lemon juice should I use to start with?

Thanks

then finally we opened the box
we couldn't find any rules
our heads were reeling with the glitter of possibilities, contingencies...

Maybe try 5 grams first. Brew 10g and drink half. The rest is there if you purge too soon or want to go deeper. It doesnt matter whether or not it is powdered, just make sure its broken up good for brewing. If brewing thoroughly, lemon juice is not needed. All you need is water. 3 x 3 hour boils on the rue, and 3 x 30 minute boils on the MHRB are standard brew times people use.

Ok thank you.

If I do chose to brew exactly the way in that recipe how much lemon juice per 20 minute boil should I use? I don't imagine to much would hurt but I dont want to use to little. Unless you recommend against brewing that way.

well citric acid won't evaporate off, so as much lemon juice you add, you will have to drink after it is all reduced down.
it really doesn't matter all that much how much you add, just a little splash in each brew.
you probably wouldn't want to try and drink more than 2 tablespoons or so (depending on how much you plan on reducing it).
