Odd that it seems this is all that's been posted about such important phenomenon, considering just how much the Nexus pioneers this very same impulse in its respective fields. Personally, this site was likely the catalyst that lead me to discover this movement and learn to practice "hacking" in all aspects of living. Now to bring us back on topic...

Hacking has transcended a merely digital arena and is now practiced practically as a whole-life philosophy as a contra-institutional DIY approach to modern living at large. The free-flow proliferation of cultural and technical reference material is reaching a critical mass in which novelty seems to blur for those with eyes for it, and the only recourse beyond simple astonishment is participation. We've become so accustomed to the exponential evolution of technology that it may even seem to plateau even as it accelerates evermore. The inhabitants of this era have a remarkable opportunity to marry the digital to the physical, perpetually and exponentially enriching both realms in grand union.

The residents of this site are perfectly aware of what it means to manifest the digital into something tangible. Most of us only knew of DMT what we had discovered using a computer, and with this tool, brought this substance of renown straight too the core of our very consciousness. I can't imagine a more pivotal or rewarding experience. For most, this likely led to massive overhauls in lifestyle, attentiveness to set and setting, aesthetic appreciation, physical attunement, general resourcefulness, and even preoccupation with diet--particularly regarding the active constituents therein. Many felt as though bursting at the seams with expressiveness, seeking out every possible way of sharing the experience, either directly or indirectly and probably both. We've learned the extent of limitless potential for what we can accomplish with our hands and what we can carry within our heads. This is the essence of hacking today.
