With more and more plants becoming illegal i am quite concerned that it wont be long before the powers that be make MHRB illegal in my country.

Now this is a horrible thought, im sure you will agree, and i dont want to have to stop my exploration of the molecule due to someone else thinking its not an exceptable experience. I have only just found the Spice and i am not ready for it to be taken away.

My plan is to try to get hold of a certain amount of bark next year that will last me forever before its to late (its a surprisingly small amount). Does anybody obtain large amounts of bark at once? for some reason i feel that more than a KG would be dodgy, i dont know why i think this.

Anyone think amounts of about 10KG are to high and would bring unwanted attention?

I will be mailing the vendor to explain my situation before purchase but i thought i would get some other views before i do.

If you are in the UK, I would buy about 1kg of shredded (MH-UK), which would last you a VERY long time if you space out your journeys.10 kilos is way too much IMO.

I agree with everyone that 10kg is alot, but that was estimation for many, many years of use, with some set aside for my friends as well.

If the bark was going to be permanantly available then i would never buy more than a small amount, but, endless youtube videos, farcebook adverts and a growing use of of RC's all combine to worry me that it will soon not unavailable.

But i suppose if you ask for advise and dont take it then maybe your a fool, so i will go for a smaller amount.

Do not forget that root bark does not contains forever. Over time the nn-dmt in the bark will oxidize under the influence of light, oxygen and heat. The problem with this is that you can't extract oxidized dmt trough standard procedures. Of course you can minimalize this by storing the bark in a cool and dark place. But still I don't think that your bark will be worth much in lets say 10 years from now.

if you extracted it all, then you could just worry about storing the dmt..
also according to this thread n-oxide is soluble in xylene/toluene/limonene and partially so in basic water.
in fact the only thing that it seems to be insoluble in is naphtha, and there are plenty of teks that don't use that..
and after you have your extracted n-oxide, you can always convert it back to freebase (and if you regret doing that, you can always convert it back)

I think 2 kilo's is enough. Certainly no more than 3. And avoid vendors selling dogs bark-WOOF!!

I would keep the order to 3kg max in ordering from outside country. I wouldn't hesitate to buy as much as I can afford from an in country vendor.

It won't keep forever in the bark, but I think DMT-Fumarate will last a while.

If you sell drugs or live with someone who sells drugs, or have parties at your house.... do not bring mhrb home. The common thread in many off the more recent busts is that the cops came for something else...were tipped off by the smell of pot... searched the house and now its a drug lab.

I have had shredded bark sitting in an open shopping bag for over a year and still gotten over 1% yield. Maybe powdered bark oxidises more quickly.

I prefer to do small extractions every now and then, as opposed to extracting large amounts all at once. As Madcap said, be safe

buying anything more than 3kg in my opinion your better off synthesizing it price wise its like 2% by weight so 1kg would yeild like 2grams thats erm like 20-30hits

if you got 2 grams of spice from a 1 kg of bark lots of people on this site would be very poor

Calculate how frequently you journey annually, what standard dosage you use, and how frequently you spread the love to your friends annually, against how many years you project you'll be utilizing this substance. If a lifetime's worth is what you want, then a pound or half pound of DMT would most certainly last you a lifetime, if stored properly. With a 1% yield as a standard, 23 kilograms of MHRB would suffice for a half pound, and 45 kilograms of MHRB would suffice for a pound. Obviously, you shouldn't go by this, but by your calculations.

2000mg = 30 hits = 66 mg/hit

It would be stupid for a country to outlaw MHRB(Most of them are).
There are plenty of other plants to extract from tho, so if this does happen I can assure that there will be new teks to try.

With all of the awesomely smart people here, I honestly think one of us nexians will figure out how to self-extract one day. Or, once we discover where/how DMT is produced in our bodies, we'll find a simple way to trigger accelerated production. Although the effort may be for naught, because as we all know, a beam of consciousness coming from the galactic center is going to blast open all of our third eyes at the end of 2012 and usher in an age of enlightenment.
