Oh, it´s definately more intense. Not nicer though. Ayahuasca is definately much more pleasant.
Iboga has some simmilarity´s with ayahuasca but it goes much deeper. It takes you beyond what ayahuasca is capable of (at least, most of the brews we in the west are familiar with).
Iboga also has a darker character though, wich mostly has to do with the fact that it also numbs the mind somewhat...you are aware that you are tripping, but it can become very difficult to distinguish reality from hallucinations. You shouldn´t do it without someone to watch over you.
Iboga is a psychedelic mount everest...don´t underestimate it´s power. Safety is a big and serious issue when you consider taking iboga, unlike with ayahuasca where risks are often being exagerated. Taking iboga unprepared or not following safety guidelines is very risky. Some people have died and more people nearly have died because of it.
