Yeah, me too. This is the story that got me into sci-fi in the first place, so many years ago. Asimov has a beautiful way with words.

this is my favorite short sory and if i can trust the interview with asimov one of his favorites too. he almost wrote it down all of a sudden and hadnt much to change or rewrite. it is marvelous in its simplicity and the twist comes almost like the "act of creation" itself over the reader.
if you like this i can recoomend "best of asimov"
