So I have extremely thin tubing and I want to siphon, only problem is I'm having problems starting the flow of liquid. So I was thinking I could attach a turkey baster to the end of the tube and suck up the liquid and once the tubing was full then remove the baster, thus starting the siphoning process. Any thoughts?

Do some research on solvents and plastic material, because you dont want to use a plastic that will leach. When my friend did this, his DMT did not smell right. Better to just use a glass eye dropper instead. Also, try using the search function for basic questions like this.

hdpe pipettes do a better job with thin layers. much easier to maneuver than a baster.
