Not a day goes by where I don't think that everything is just weird as fuck. For example, vision is really weird to me, how we see out of these little spheres that are in our face. Or our thoughts, how we can hear a little voice in our head and it seems to never shut up sometimes. Or consciousness, or existence... I'm with you. Weird as fuck. But that just means you're finally paying attention. "Curiouser and curiouser..." ~ Alice
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it." ~ Buddha

Yes... absolutely. Every freakin day, there is always SOMETHING that happens that makes me go..... what? I am not sure if it because I like to keep myself in awe of just how intricate things are or what, but i am always astounded at what goes on around me. Let the plants guide you, for they teach lessons beyond what we humans can offer. Distorted is our perception of reality, because reality is much more distorted than we could ever perceive it to be.

What you say? Weirdness? No worry: Once in a while you get shown the light In the strangest of places if you look at it right

Weird is an especially subjective term. How about fascinating, captivating, interesting or mind-blowing? Or my personal favorite... MINDGASM.

Sadly people become desensitized to the exhilaration of experience in life. Some fun things to think about though, pertaining to the word "weird". Weird is etymologically descended from the Old Norse "wyrd" which is related to the concepts of "fate" or more specifically to the universal processes as a whole; "mystery" is more appropriate in fact, but it is used in fathoming the concept of "ginnungigap" or the "yawning chasm" of chaos from which reality was created from. Even "weirder" is that the modern form of "word" is derived from the evolution of "wyrd" and it's concepts. Especially considering that the "WORD" was quite a magical concept for ancient man. Indeed, as word is an expression of thought, it is a way of expressing one's will to others in a more subtle way than what preceded the use of word. I find it strange that "weird" is often used in negative context by many nowadays, especially given it's near magical concept. The only hell for a warrior is peace.
The warm fuzzy side of the cold hard truth.

So weird. During my last ayahuasca journey, I found myself saying out loud "This has got to be the weirdest shit that has ever happened in the history of life." I totally rolled around laughing during the whole thing. I'll never get it, but I'll always love it "I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."

I think that DMT experiences make one more analytic and perceptive of the world. Allowing you to notice these events whereas before they fell below your threshold of perception. If you don't sin, Jesus died for nothing.

Most of the world drones through life similar to a robot. Their conditioned to turn off outside stimulus for survival. Ignoring loud noises, shading the eyes to bright lights, taking nature for granted, etc. This means avoiding that which is 'weird' or out of place. Psychedelics pave a way to a new belonging, while permanently altering perceptions so that a new appreciation may be felt, while subsequently waking up the inner conciousness. I like to think they change weird into normal, and vice versa.
It's disappointing so many people associate the word 'weird' with awkward, out of place, or just a general negative interpretation. Fortunately, there is a movement to change that, and you can help! Prior to going out or making plans, discuss with your closest friends about how 'weird' you'd like to get tonight. Even better, when you're in public, share the weirdness with strangers. They won't mind, and if they do, buy them a drink. They need it more than you do.

The etymology of weird reminds me of the etymology of demon which I heard about the other day. Here is a wikipedia excerpt: The idea of the daimonic typically means quite a few things: from befitting a demon and fiendish, to motivated by a spiritual force or genius and inspired. As a psychological term, it has come to represent an elemental force which contains an irrepressible drive towards individuation. As a literary term, it can also mean the dynamic unrest that exists in us all that forces us into the unknown, leading to self-destruction and/or self-discovery. Contents [hide] Living to Give
