So, I have in my possession a nice little military percolator that I picked up for like 8$ from a surplus store, and was wondering if anyone's used this before for caapi or mimosa or something of that nature? I used it once for harmala, just 30 minutes in the percolator and it worked fine; however I have been shy to use caapi or mimosa without some kind of idea as to what the process should approximately look like...

However it may be aluminum, but I don't know for certain.

Im actually looking for the same answer, it seems like it would be the perfect aya brewer although ive never brewed it or drank it before, i want to try this method.

To me this seems like the same thing as THP so can anyone give me some direction on how i could brew using this? maybe even do the 3x3 boils adding more water/vinegar when it gets low.

here is the idea of the perculator

nice! yeah it seems like it would be perfect for small batches of aya! It worked excellent for a 3 person batch of hamel, in fact 30 minutes may have been a bit too much as the color was rather dark for the harmel tea I like... I dunno about using 3x3, in fact I don't know about 3x3 at all these days... I was thinking 4x30min....
