Swim just bought 4, one gallon, HDPE containers. He needs to hurry his extractions beacuse he had to switch houses and is under a time cap. He has 3.5 pounds of powder MHBR. How much MHBR, water and lye should go in per one gallon container? Thanks!

SWIM uses around 1000ml of water for around 125g of MHRB, with around 25g of Lye. SWIM would guess around 500g of MHRB and 3.5L (0.92 gallons) of water, with about 90g of lye. Nanaki, of course is a fictional video game character. He never does drugs that would alter consciousness. He only thinks he does.

My best friend was doing extractions of 250g of bark in 750ml of water with 200g of lye with no problem... You could probably do up to a pound at a time if you shred it rather than powder it.

Where is the middle line between complete sludge and very liquidy? Like if the nonpolar layer is think but can still move, is that really a bad thing? Will the NaOH not react fully or the naphtha not extract fully? I had to shut down my operation early, but I had an idea that I thought was good. I didn't put in enough water and it was really sludgy. Then I decided to put in naphtha. When I turned it upside down, instead of the water layer and the naptha layer going aroudn each other, the sludge literally fell through the naphtha. It visibly looked like the naphtha picked up way more this way. I was unable to evaporate, however.

I know my friends have had poor luck with a slugdy extract... My best friend added in, "I had only 0.1% yield once with 100g of shredded bark and 300ml of water. I added in another 300ml water and got another 0.65% out of it."
Take that for what it's worth.

For a gallon container I usually do about 3.3L of water to ~220g of powdered bark.

My friend generates great yields (>1%) using the tek from www.dmt.20m.com. However he does add some more lye to it and he composes the MHRB mix before he goes to sleep. For a gallon it looks a litte like this (SWIM calculated 3,5 liters because you will need the remaining empty part for the DMT shuffle) 71,43% or 2500 ML H20 3,57% or 125 gr NOAH 7,14% or 250 gr MHRB 17.86% or 625 ml Naptha Use a sink and warm water to heat up the naptha and the container. Mix it when it has reached the temperature of 60 degrees C. The heat will speed things up and reduce the risk for nasty emulsions. After puling 3-4 times the naptha goes in the freezer for at least 12 hours, recrystallize one time and SWIY is good to go! If I dont meet you no more in this world then uh I'll meet you on the next one and don't be late

Ok, swim has his gallon containers and will attempt this at some time. Swim was hoping to do 500g batches, but oh well, 250g can pull 2.5g at best so that is good! Thank you. Something I just noticed, you mentioned 625mL of naphtha! that is a lot isn't it?
