Great pic! It depicts the situation perfectly.

That´s what you get when people vote republican. In a democracy, the people always get the government they deserve....well, except from everybody who didn´t vote for that party ofcourse.

Hmmm, but that would imply democracy isn´t such a great system as our parents and teachers have always told us, would it ?!?

Once again, I remind you that the US does not have a democracy as much as it likes to push the concept on everyone else. It's a representative republic, and if you don't think that makes too much of a difference, consider that half the problems that come out of corruption can exist because of this non democratic representative republic.

"representative republic" is redundant! A Republic is just a representative government there are different types. The U.S. is supposed to be a democratic republic meaning a representative democracy but these days it seems to be much more of a corporate republic.

Charges dropped. "Michael Allison, an Illinois man who faced a potential sentence of 75 years in prison for recording police officers and attempting to tape his own trial, caught a break last week when a state judge declared the charges unconstitutional."

I think a lot of law enforcement purposely misinterprets ease dropping and wiretapping laws to their advantage. Ease dropping and wiretapping laws do not apply to public space.
