Hi to all, I have a strange question to ask, Basically i have severe phlegm ever since i was young,maybe 14 and now 15 years later, and i have to spit it out so much that i have to spit in a cup with water, now i opened my uv light and my phlegm fluoresces violet when fresh and then turns green after a day or two, i was wondering,what could be the cause of that ? I've always been told that bodily fluids will glow under UV lights. Going on that, I would assume the reason for the color change is because as your phlegm air dries, it's losing fluid, and won't glow as well. Perhaps to test this, you should take two samples of phlegm. Leave one out and do the same as you've been doing so far, and with the other one, put it in some air tight container in the fridge (not sure if this is the best way to keep something moist, but point is, store it somewhere where it shouldn't dry out). I would speculate DMT phlegm(you know what I mean) would shine with the colors of the rainbow under UV light

It usually comes after the most powerful experiences for me where it just coats the back of my throat, making my voice sound incredibly deep and grovely like it's not my voice at all. Coughing up lots of mucky phlegm for many years raises the possibility of a condition called bronchiectasis.People with this condition can, after a number of years, get their airways colonised by a species of bacteria called Pseudomonas.Pseudomonas can appear blue/green under UV light. I find it comes almost on every blast off first to the back of the throat, then I prefer to spit it out as it feels just like "better quality" phlegm.
