I have gotten my hands on 5 gram Passiflora Incarnata 5x extract in powdered form (no tincture).
I also have gotten my hands on 50 grams of Ourinhos Caapi and 20 grams of pink lotus.
There is a amount of 20g spice available.
In total i want to make 60g changa, 40g herbs 20g spice.
The herbs will consist out of 20g pink lotus and 20g caapi.
Most of the pink lotus will be added BEFORE infusing even though i will lose the nice pink color,
some will be added later for cosmetic reasons
This leaves me with about 40g caapi (i have some extra from last batch) and the 5 gram Passiflora extract.
I want to extract the alkaloids from the caapi using gribal2's explanation.
But what to do with the passiflora extract? adding it as powder is no option, this will not work.
It is exactly the reason why i normally "filter" my caapi shreds before infusion, i don't wanna end up with 5 gram powder at the bottom.
Could i possibly add the passiflora to the caapi extraction? or should i do a seperate extraction?
Would it be better to just soak both the caapi and the passiflora extract in IPA for some weeks?
What would you advice?
