My husband at age 61 enjoys gaming on his PC, his PS3 and his PSP. He tends to play 2 or more games a day on 2 or more systems. He's been a chronic pot smoker for close to 50 years. He can more than hold his end up on a conversation of just about any topic and has deep knowledge of all kinds of things from the classics of all cultures to weapons through the ages to all Dynasties of Ancient Egypt to most everything Hollywood produced prior to 1990 to . . . . the list goes on and on. He is sharp as a tack. Nice to see someone is finally doing some research on this. "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU

Nice to see someone is finally doing some research on this. I can confirm the benefits of gaming, I have been a gamer since 1976 when Atari's Pong came out. As well I have worked in the industry but retired from it as it is, contrary to popular belief, a very stressful environment. A couple of weeks ago I had a full medical check up and the doctor couldn't believe my reaction time (140 milliseconds, had to do it 5 times!) and he also was impressed by my hand-eye coordination. Not bad for a 40+ year old "More than the past, I'm interested in the future, because that's where I intend to live."

Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness." — Terence McKenna

Please do so quickly Let the Tao flow through you. Be the embodiment of it so throughout, that when passed by on the street they say, "Look! There goes Dao!"
