By James Oroc. This was published in MAPS bulletin, XXI. Author is also the curator of the Tryptamine Palace (currently under maintenance). Got GVG ? Mhm. Got DMT ? Thanks shaolin, I thoroughly enjoyed the articulated book "Tryptamine Palace" and know where James Oroc is coming from with his extreme sport and psychedelics. He think of them as great training to let go and push the fear limits... My opinion is that sports in nature, not only extreme but any of them are good to balance a healthy psychedelic based life style as it connects really well one bodymind with one soul. As psychedelics works best in a place where the body is well treated and in good shape. Take care ! Smell like tea n,n spirit !
Toke the toke, and walk the walk !

I loved the Tryptamine Palace, and this article was a fun read as well. I always loved that Doc Ellis no-hitter story. It's simply legendary. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

I must admit I have spent plenty days skimboarding heavy shorebreak on mushrooms and once on mescaline..I have surfed on mushrooms and always while stoned..I used to snowboard every single day after work and have a pocket full of joints for the chairlift rides..i would go skateboard bowls and mini ramps all the time on a light dose of mushrooms..I used to sit back against a log or in a tree overlooking the ocean and smoke changa for a few minutes before going out for a skim in the afterglow..the 2 meditations go very well together. It is really just like someone doing yoga on acid etc.. Until you have snowboarded down a fresh peak you spent all morning hiking after smoking a joint to the dome you have never truely snowboarded..just as you have never truely experienced the power and indescrinbable serenity of the ocean until you havbe paddled out on a nice dose, checking out the fish while waiting for waves.. Long live the unwoke.

It is. You have to be careful though..you have to for one, know the mountain you are riding or beach you are surfing..know the snowpack if you are backcountry etc..know the riptides and where not to paddle out..and I never surfed on anything other than cannabis on large days. I like to dose a bit of mushrooms on realy small days when most of the guys out are longboarders. Same with hiking etc..I would not wander off into the mountains around here on some psychedelic without knowing the trails and having a map, compass, food, fire source and at the very least bear spray. It's like anything else..be prepared. Long live the unwoke.
