Hi!
SWIM introduced his father and sister to the spirit vine recently by giving them 250mg of caapi extract and 60mg dmt fumarate each. They both had very interesting experiences, but also reported feeling nauseated during the whole experience. SWIM's dad said he felt as if an energy inside him wanted him to purge so he got ready for it, but the purge never came. He even tried to force the purge, but didn't succeed and the nausea lasted throughout the experience.
A few weeks later SWIM had a solo experience with 250mg harmine and 80mg of dmt. Got nausea (as expected) and decided to get it out of SWIM's system but could not purge. It felt like the ayahuasca spirit was teasing and SWIM could almost hear her laughing saying "I decide when you purge, lol".
SWIM like to get some advice on how to get rid of this nausea, he knows from earlier experiences how great it feels after purging.

Couple of thoughts. Take more harmalas...and force the purge. ..or try making a brew with ginger root. This worked pretty well for me and a few friends one evening. Peace. If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.

Yeah, an increased harmala dose will inevitably force it I guess. SWIM'll keep the ginger root suggestion as well. Thanks!

my last pharma journey, i purged really easily, and it felt good.
ginger might make the nausea non existent? possibly 2-3 datura stramonium seeds?
i used 200mg caapi extract and 113mg fb spice.
200mg of caapi using gibran2 tek is -strong- for me, and not sure what 250mg would do differently.
so my guess if you want to -get rid of- nausea, then maybe decrease harmala and take ginger.
but if you -want- to purge, then maybe increase both a bit, and have a bucket handy. i managed to put shoes on and go out in the snow, but a bucket would have been easier!
for me, nausea subsided following purge.

drink some water..wait 2 minutes and stick your finger down your throat and trigger the vomit reflex. It works. Long live the unwoke.

I read this one a while back. Never tried it. Worth a shot. Some say it works. Just thought I'd pass it along. Reducing nausea from serotonergenic psychedelics - Essential lemon oil! https://www.dmt-nexus.me...osts&t=24003&p=2"Prying open my third eye."

Dont just make tea with ginger, eat it! galanolactone, the 5-ht3 inhibitor (nausea-reducing) in ginger is not water soluble. Yeah the lemon oil also works! You can take both ginger and lemon oil for a good nausea-reducing combo. Also one thing that isnt clear: How did you consume it? Dissolving the alkaloids in water/acidic juice and swallowing = much more nausea IME. Taking it in capsules means less nausea but less effective too. Best i found is to wrap the alkaloids in a bit of smoking paper and swallow that like a pill, following it with some warm tea. Or, as others said, embrace the nausea and vomit if its a must

biopsylo: I guess no nausea would be the best, but if SWIM does feel it coming in the first place he'd like to purge. jamie & DJ_Truthseek: thanks SWIM has no experience using ginger root; how much would one eat? endlessness: I agree when it comes to dissolving the stuff in a liquid, SWIM gags just by imagining the taste. SWIM has been taking/giving it in capsules, but the effects are weaker as compared to the first trip he had, when he dissolved in water/grapefruit juice. SWIM will take your advice with the smoking paper and warm tea! Thank you

as the ginger, if using fresh root, a spoonful very finely chopped is a good place to start, -this will warm your stomach
the real candied ginger is great, too--although usually has too much sugar. just eat a handful of it.
endlessness:-- i like the rolling paper idea. so this would have to be fumarate?
i was not expecting nausea when i dissolved caapi and spice in gatorade. 2 out of 4 of us got nausea that time.

Fumarate is ideal, but I have done it with freebase before, it worked well, though it was kinda harsh on the stomach.. But at the time I had not followed it with a warm tea and/or something acidic to help convert the freebase. I mean, the stomach acid will anyways eventually convert it to salt form, but it might take a little while, and in this time before its converted it seems to be harshly basic IME. One thing that helps with the conversion is if it doesnt have chunks, so break it up as finely as possible before eating. Maybe following with a (little) piece of bread or similar can also stimulate digestion/absorption.
If you are using freebase, make sure there are no solvent traces in it, burping naphtha is no fun! So redissolve your freebase in (non-denatured) ethanol or acetone, for example, and re-evap, and then when its scrapped up and dry, you can eat it.
