I've had a few white light experiences from meditation as a result of HPPD from several different hallucinogens stacking up, however the method by which I got there made it feel fake and I eventually started getting anxiety symptoms so I'm staying clean to let the HPPD disappear. Afterward I can start over in a more spiritual fashion. I've never reached hyperspace this way but each time I came out of the experience with massive visuals, and one time on a (sub-deliriant) dose of diphenhydramine while meditating I suddenly entered the tunnel leading up to the breakthrough, I know it wasn't DPH-influenced (mainly) because the visuals were hyperrealistic (as opposed to delirium's "regular" realistic) and extremely fractalized. I was fully prepared to ride it out but the distracted nature of the DPH snapped me out of it and I couldn't bring it back... oh well. Because of this, however, I do think that if you used high doses of DMT frequently enough to have some form of HPPD you could get back to hyperspace through meditation.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Ok I'm gonna try to learn more about Kundalini and see how that goes. If I'm still too frightened to go to hyperspace even with Kundalini then I will seek out a psychologist to help me overcome my hyperspace rush fears. Now the question is where to find such a psychologist... maybe I will have to be my own psychologist Razz

Meditation and things like yoga are essential to my life and i think they can be unbelievably beneficial in many ways to many people. But if the reason your not exploring hyperspace via the psychedelics is because of fear and anxiety.. (which is completely understandable! we all experience this at times)..then i would suggest taking some caapi-only brews, or harmalas.. and also trying low doses of changa if you haven't -especially during yoga. These, I've found, provide an amazing and easy recalibration, and is a great way to smooth over that anxiety. Things like this can help completely dissolve that fear very quickly when approached in the right set/setting

btw, I continue to have hyperspace "close-calls" while sleeping, if I go to sleep thinking about hyperspace (sober). Like I will wake up and suddenly get that DMT head buzz that rises in pitch and seems to suck my soul up and out... I am getting very close to my goal. Fear is still an issue but getting less so.

And I don't have HPPD. Never have.

I've been able to go to Hyperspace via dreaming with some regularity.

As with many Nexians, the use of spice or aya in a dream can invoke the actual experience... albeit often somewhat fleeting if one doesn't consciously hold on to it.

Also, with lucid dreaming, it is possible to simply will yourself there or use teleportation techniques. I have had success with this as well.

Meditation, could very well be able to take you there directly, but it tends to have very distinctive, non-hyperspace destinations for me. The handful of times that I have gotten into spicy realms purely with meditation were all accompanied by a serious pulsing in my pineal gland and a flood of tryptamine laden juice rushing into my mouth. I assume the juice to be tryptamine filled, but have never analysed it.

This same nectar experience has happened a number of times with more active yogas, chi kung techniques, and most commonly with lengthy and intensive massage sessions.

I don't know of any sure fire recipe to make it happen, but being thoroughly stretched, meridians/ nadis all open and flowing, combined with deep mediation and possibly even the pineal stimulating tongue mudra... this would be a good approximation of a recipe.

Do you need that amount? I find 20-30mg to be all that's needed.

wana try something amazing? i did this for quite a while with DMT and still do it when i feel mentally 'strong'..

i load up a goodly dose of our blessed molecule and sit in full meditation posture (half lotus for me). i use a pillow so my hips aren't too over-torqued. i use hand mudra with my left hand in my lap and my right hand at my heart with my index fingers and thumbs touching. i breathe deeply and evenly and focus on the third eye area. i spend a good 5-10 minutes just 'letting go' of thoughts....allowing them to pass and fade like letters written on the surface of a pond...

when i feel clear and empty, i take my breakthrough dose. i can always get it in one hit and it only takes 20-30 to take me away at this point in my relationship with spice. while holding the hit in, i set my GVG down and return to the exact meditative posture and focus even harder on that third eye area and that emptiness...

when the medicine takes me, i do not allow my mind to focus on a single thing that comes to me (about 14.6 billion things). instead, i maintain that focus on the 'source' of these things. the center, the sun, the core. i just continue to do what i was doing BEFORE taking the spice, but now using the intense amplification that the medicine gifts us with. whether it is the intent, the execution, the upright meditative posture, the mudras, the WHATEVER...it is one of the most profound ways i have found yet of working with the spirit molecule.

i call it Deep Meditation Therapy and my thinking is thus: no matter how evolved, conscious or aware we become, there will always be a source of THAT. you can be an 11th dimensional shape-shifting, all-knowing consciousness and STILL have a source that is unknowable beyond you. that's my thinking anyways... i always get this very strong feeling that whatever the consciousness/intelligence is that lies within my scape of DMT, i truly believe it WANTS me to see beyond the jaw-dropping visual awe and see the deeper scope of it's power. we are such a visual-based consciousness right now....there are senses that no doubt blow vision out of the water, but the only way to begin to awaken to them, it would seem, is to accept that the 'see/label/understand' way of thinking must be forfeited....

...even if only for a little while...

either way, it's an excellent way to work with DMT and well worth experimenting with!

with the deepest love and gratitude!!

I´ve had a few experiences with meditation that where truly psychedelic. When you´re half-asleep/half-awake in the morning or at night and you´re lying in bed, you can easily acces states of mind that would normally be out of reach.

One has been looking into a bit of meditation and techniques to use when meditating to keep focus. One is not sure if they are effectively working because its has only been a few months and one can be a bit skeptical. But to say the least this last month and a half, One has opened up many new doors and experiences thanks in part to chakra focus meditations and SP (sleep paralysis) techniques, One has also been experimenting with astral projecting. One was VERY skeptical at first, but these techniques have opened one's eyes in a way that only my experience with DMT has done years ago. One doesn't follow any direct plan of meditations or anything, One just decides when one feels like they want to try to astral project, or access one's pineal gland through chakra meditations. One is by no means a professional, and one would credit YT, readings online and experiences with N,n-DMT for everything one has learned.

One feels that astral projection is a simplified form of DMT-hyperspace launch, one's consciousnesses is shot upward like the feelings one had experienced before while entering hyperspace under influence of vaporized N.n-DMT inhalation. In the midst of Sleep Paralysis one's forehead was crackling and making statick sounds and great vibrations. One felt itself leaving its physical body then being shot through a breakthrough like experience, then being able to traverse through time and space/dimensions.

A good meditation is the cross-legged position with fingers locked and in lap in dark quiet area. Technique involves massaging the roof of ones mouth with the tounge and then holding the entire tounge locked against the roof of the mouth. For one, this evokes a green/blue hue behind ones eyelids which brings one into a deeper transition of consciousnesses where one can really find their center and evoke their pineal gland and crown chakra. For one, this dep trance meditation evokes a flurry and bang of images that blast seemingly from the center of your consciousness of the bluish-green behind ones eyes. As long as one can hold onto the concept that you are out of body and fully aware you will not slip into deep REM sleep. Sometimes one will loose control of awareness and transmorph into the dream-realm.

One would go more in depth, and one may sometime or another int he future. One is in search of one's own answers at the moment.

That sounds totally up my alley, i often just see a blue purple flame in the center of my eyes when i go to sleep, can this be equal to what you describe?

I have given this thread some considerable thought, before uttering a word on the subject. I must admit, that while I have been practicing the art of meditation for over 37 years, with consistency... there is nothing like a psychedelic experience. Since the late 1960's there has been a debate about comparisons between what the "spiritual masters" experience in deep meditation and what the psychonaut goes through, in flights of psychedelia.

From everything I have directly experienced, with both sober meditation and psycho-activated, entheogenic voyages with most of the classic psychedelics (including Spice), points toward a symbiosis betwixt these high energy aspects of the human experience. A succinct parallel and a yet... dramatic differentiation in perception.

In other words, it is just as reasonable to question if one can access hyperspace by breathing slowly and deeply or chanting a specific mantra (for 10 years in a cave). It's not that simple and I sincerely believe that it is more rare than most religiously oriented folks would like to admit. Not without triggering the right chemical reaction in the brain and host's organic neuro system. That being said, meditation does activate areas of the brain largely left dormant and there are significant changes in our brain's chemistry, while in alpha wave states.

What I am getting at is this, meditation is a process by which we come to practice awareness of the present moment. Living in the now. The potentiality of igniting within our mind, a shift in cognition, is IMO our single greatest gift from The Creator. Frankly, most of the time traditional meditation practice is not at all like a psychedelic trip. It is a slow and saturating rise in conscious awareness... not a rocket into the eternal, as with entheogens. How could it be? And yet, the higher levels of human perception, link the individuated witness to the unified whole of universal being. Add the Sacred Medicine to this centering equation and there is most likely to be ignited, a voyage into a transcendental experience.

I am of the opinion that meditation is a form of training and a way of life. Psychedelics offer as many potential experiences as there are individual minds participating in the high. When a receptive soul encounters the white light, during the peak of an entheogenic eclipsing, the desire to reconnect with this radiance of being, is forevermore an aim of direct intention and a vital purpose for one's journey through this lifetime.

But why must it be either or... if used in balanced harmony? Meditation is optimum for the natural evolution within our consciousness. Psychedelics are mind-blowing for a sudden explosion of perceptually enhanced, mind expansion. I have found in my own small universe, that by regular attunement of concentration and internal focus, I am better able to access subtler and far subtler levels of awareness... while enhanced by or not enhanced by entheogens. United, these methodologies are self-shattering. Make no mistake, the power and the raw force of LSD, Magic Mushrooms, Mescaline, Salvia Divinorum and especially DMT, will take the awareness of the witness beyond any realm of the known.

It is meditation which allows the soul to center on the here and now. Practicing being in the present only facilitates what happens next. I cannot say if peaking on a psychedelic is the same as Samadhi, Satori, Divine Rapture or "Enlightenment"... I only know that the Sacred Medicine has gifted me with the direct experience of The Clear Light of the Void, and so too, an awakening within the freedom and expanse of The Godhead. It has literally destroyed my ego-self, reassembled my priorities and birthed me anew, filled with a bursting glow of inspiration and a profound loving identification with all of you and the whole freaking parameter of this wonderfully complex and enigmatic multiverse. Wink
There is no self to which I cling, for I am one with everything.

So I may get attacked for this one but....it's true to me so I'll risk it....

It'e not exactly "drug-free meditation" ...but....I like alcohol....in my blood I guess you can say....and while in a sorta 6-pack + turntable altered state I have felt the presence and even had psuedo-communication similar to first low dosage experiences....albeit much more comfortable and in some ways seemingly more rewarding yet dulled and nowhere near as profound and definable.

Whether it can be said that my inebriated XP's have been tainted or if there can be found a logical pathway is a valid argument...can even "meditate" drunk and hear the carrier wave followed by an influx of possible telepathic .....experience....

I know this sounds all too dismissible as the effects of alcohol...but so be it...just thought I'd throw it out there...

BTW I don't advise the usage of and especially not the mixture of alcohol with certain molecules
...good enough disclaimer? Wink

Just wanted to drop a couple of stories here on the table. My mom claims - and I know it's true because it has haunted her all her life - that when she was young, to the tune of 7 years old, she managed to essentially meditate into what she describes as "another dimension" - she felt like she was somehow outside of the familiar universe and able to look down and see "more". She would do this a bit regularly until she had one frightening experience where she went farther - farther - and realized she might get "stuck" in that realm and not be able to find her way back. She immediately stopped doing it, and only once accidentally triggered it when she was blowing up a raft - hyperventilated, began to faint, and found herself back in that space.

She says that her method for going there was to sit quietly and repeat the same question to herself over and over - something like "what is now?" or "where is here?" Looking back she recognizes that she basically stumbled into mantra meditation on her own as an open-minded kiddo.

And then I came across this very fascinating account.

John Addington Symonds was a renowned Victorian art historian and Renaissance scholar.

In autobiographical writings, he describes unusual dreamlike states in his youth "approaching hypnotism in its character":

"When I was reading, and always, I think, when my muscles were at rest, I
felt the approach of the mood. Irresistibly it took possession of my mind
and will, lasted what seemed an eternity, and disappeared in a series of
rapid sensations.... the universe became without form and void of content.
But self persisted formidable in its vivid keenness, feeling the most
poignant doubt.... And what then? The apprehension of a coming dissolution,
the grim conviction that this state was the last state of the conscious
self, the sense that I had followed the last thread of being to the verge of
the abyss, and had arrived at the demonstration of eternal Maya or
illusion.... The return to ordinary conditions of sentient existence began
by my first recovering the power of touch.... At last I felt myself once
more a human being."

Anyone who says that you can't get their through meditation probably does not realize that they are one and the same. Of course you can't get their through meditation if you don't think you can. Its kind of like learning to swim. You can ease yourself in and learn to swim. But once you learn to swim you dont say I can only swim in the pool I learned to swim in!

You can 100% achieve a psychedelic experience through meditation. Back in the day I didn't think this was possible, but after much practice and self realization I am able to get their pretty often. It's not about the chemical, its about what the chemical opens in your mind. You already have the ability to trip, you just have to turn the key.

Why meditation and sleep are the keys? Because, imagine if you were to just start tripping during the day without any effort. That would be bad. Instead, nature being the sneaky thing it is, put a safety mechanism in us. Relaxation. In order to achieve this state of mind, which we all do all the time when we sleep, you simply have to relax and let go. Sounds easy, but it's not.

Thing is, if I wouldn't of smoked DMT I would have never realized this is possible through sobriety. In fact, it wasn't until I not only had a trip, but also realized that the trip was always there, but just the chemical turned it on.

Might sound crazy, but I sometimes talk to the cells in my body. I can, and not even joking, give them commands. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I can be like, alright guys lets do this, lets go on a journey (not literally speaking mind you), and its almost like I create a unison of direction for my body. I also found that by doing that same thing where I talk to my cells I can stop pain, clear nasal pressure, clear blotches in my skin and also have hallucinations.
