Being on the road, it can be difficult to find the time or space to brew. It has been just about a month since my last journey and yesterday I finally had the opportunity to make a quick jurema brew. I spent about two hours doing three quick strains of about 28g's of mhrb. I used about 5g's of rue for the other tea. I knew I needed to go deep and was hoping that this would be sufficient. I consumed the rue around 9:30 and the mimosa around 9:55. As I waited for the purge, I prayed for guidance. After about 45 minutes, I realized that the purge, wasn't coming, so I went back inside turned the lights off and layed down. I could feel the effects starting to take hold of me, and at about 10:45 it felt like someone hit me upside the head! I opened my eyes and realized that I was in deep. She had taken me hard. It was beautiful. I didn't know that I was hurting until I felt the tears streaming down my face. After a while I began to move forward and at one moment I realized that my thoughts were in an entirely different language. I know that the spirit communicates with me, but there are times when I don't understand what I am seeing and hearing. Other times the messages come through crystal clear, and last night was exceptional, because for a short while we were communicating in a different language. As the journey continued on, I realized that I would be purging out the other end and when the pressure had become too much I dragged myself to the bathroom. After I had finished, the more intense effects started to subside and I remained in the beautiful afterglow for another couple hours. I think I finally fell asleep around 2:0p, but the most intense part of the journey subsided around 12:3p(which felt like a lifetime). My only regret was that I didn't brew more. I am also starting to wonder about the Rue. Sometimes she can feel angry(?). At one point it almost felt like there was a malevolent entity that had come in, but it quickly subsided. Has anyone had anything similar happen to them? With the brew taking a short dark twist, I wonder if I had not shown enough respect to the plants or if it had been a dark corner in my mind working itsself out. All in all it was a beautiful journey and I look forward to the next time that I have a chance brew again.

Just likely just a dark corner of the mind in reference to the darkness you were speaking of.

Glad you had such an intense ride! Sounds like quite the experience. A whole new language? Just wow!

I wouldn't be too worried about the dark entity. The ayahuasca experience can be very mercurial. You should count your blessings that it wasn't there for longer. If you treat all the entities (good or bad) with kindness and love, there's not much they can do to harm you, be it physically or metaphysically. Good to hear it was such a beautiful experience. Perhaps you can look at your time on the road in a positive light from this perspective in that it gives you a built-in window in which you can integrate your experiences.

I only question the shor period of darkness, because the buzz that can be heard got more intense. I've heard the same noise from just the rue as well, so I am wondering if perhaps I used too much. I don't currently have access to a coffee grinder so I boiled the seeds whole and then drank them with the tea. I have also noticed that when using lemon juice for the mhrb, if I used too much the visuals are not as colorful. Does too much acid break something down? I'm no chemist, but I love to learn new things. It happened last night and I've made the same mistake before. The last time I journeyed, I used barely any and it was absolutely stunning. I'm not sure if she is trying to show me an icaro for protection, but it seems to be coming. The language felt like something ancient, perhaps a variation of Spanish. I can't remember the details at this point, but it was wild. Today I feel whole again, which is very nice. I am beautiful, I am loved - sweet day. That's one of the most amazing parts about this molecule; no matter how deep or dark things get, I always feel a strong sense of love.
