Yeah when I got mine it was from a guy on amazon with very good feedback and my cactus puke juice wasn't very powerful at all. I had a buddy who went to peru and took some brew with a shaman that told him the oldest cacti make the best brew and have the highest concentration of alkaloids compared to the young ones. I know the ones I got were pretty young which I think led to low potency but I could be wrong. I would think those selling cuttings on ebay would have young cuttings because they are trying to grow and sell them as fast as possible and are not selling them for people to trip off of obviously. I hope it works for your sake but that may be something to think about, but if you start to trip berries forget I ever said anything.

Yeah man, you nailed it. I didn't really get anything out of it. Been talking to some cactus guys on another forum and they said the same thing as you. My cuttings were too young and not enough mescaline in them.

Sucks so bad, because I started to feel a little something, but then it just died out.........damn.

To be honest I didn't want to say earlier and influence your trip but it took me 30g of resin to have a light to medium trip.

yeah that's exactly what happened to me when I tried the brew, started to feel something and then nothing, so i took a cap and a stem and that kicked it up a bit but not too much. If you really want to pursue the brew I know there are vendors that sell cactus powder made from cacti grown in Peru so it should be pretty legit. It's also pretty cheap. But honestly if it were me I'd just go straight for the extraction. You are going to spend a lot more time and it will be more difficult extracting but at least if you do it right you will end up with a mescaline experience. The only way I'll do the brew again is if I actually go to south america and do it with a shaman. It's probably the most guaranteed way to do the brew. Well anyway sorry it didn't work out, better luck next time

Had 3, foot long cuttings left. I cut them up into stars and I'm drying them now. Not sure what I am gonna do with them. Some people are saying to grind them up and put them in capsules and eat them. Other are saying to do Ron's extraction tek.

It took me ~6 times or more to get high off mescaline.

I got fed up and bought 2 huge pots, at least 5 gal each, and brewed 10ft down to 2 cups for my friend and I many years ago.

It wasn't until 3 hours after we drank that cup that we both experienced what mescaline is really like.

Don't get discouraged it didn't work your first time. Look at it this way, it's still good for you. It's still medicine even if you don't "trip balls"

I actually thought about doing that after my first attempt failed. I felt like buying like 6 feet of the ebay and making tea out of all of it and drinking it.

I've got 3 feet drying right now. Hopefully I can figure out how to use it correctly.

How about this:

Extract 1.5 ft dried and get ~pure mesc, consume this

Then if you don't get to where you want to go after 4-5 hours, consume the dried chips in capsules or just neck it back with some juice.

Coffee also potentiates mescaline fx if you are into that kind of thing. Would also help w/digesting a ton of dried cactus powder....

interesting about the age thing. A well known source for things celestial sells a powder that they explain is awesome just because its from new growth.

so...now its like you won't even get to truly know your clones until they've been in the ground a while. Its ok by me, I like rons tek and that PC pedro grows like weed.

My collection of (more) rare clones will have to stay in pots due to climate for now. An while I may not wait years to test them out, I can look forward to them getting even stronger once I move them into a place where i can put them in the ground and let them grow out for a few years.

behind, it looks to me like you just had a bad cactus because you seem to be very thorough with your prep work. What you did is somewhat analogous to smoking hemp. imo its better to just get a dank plant instead of trying to eat massive amounts of a bad one. Just because an ebay vendor has lots of positive reviews doesn't mean that his plants are active... In fact I can think of one located in CA that is amazingly popular and sells tons of PC pedro that he says are amazing based on the premise he scavenged them from a cool womans home after she passed away. They do grow very nicely, but I wouldn't even attempt eating them.

1. two feet is a good dose,
2. a foot long cutting (roughly 3 inches diameter) is definitely noticeable if not overwhelming for the inexperienced
3. fasting is NECESSARY (no sugars for 12-24 hours)
4. no eating for another 8-12 hours after dosing
5. t bridgesii over t pachanoi anyday
6. dont give up
7. DO A BARREL ROLL

yeah man, I followed the tek exactly....very careful to not mess anything up.

I definitely didn't fast....next time I will make sure that I do.

I cooked 2 feet of cactus...it had to have been weak.

It was pachanoi, not bridgesii....I will be getting bridgesii next time for sure.
