Morning all,

I have had a very strange occurance recently regarding my eyes.

I always journey in the dark with closed eyes. On some recent journeys i have found that i can open and close my eyes, but i have also found that there is a half way option. This halfway option still leaves me with closed eyes but closed open, if that makes sense. I have 2 choices of resting position for my eyes once i close them. It isnt simply a case of holding my eyes in a certain position halfway between open and closed, it feels like a position which my eyes fall into naturally and there is no effort required to hold this position.

I had a journey at the weekend where i was transported to a futuristic room, in this room was an entity on some kind of machine or controll pod.

1) With my eyes closed i was in his silver mirrored control room.

2) With my eyes open i could see a visually distorted version of the room my body was in.

3) The strange one is the half way position. Using this middle position seems to enhance the visuals of the places i go to or it allows hyperspace events to interact with everyday reality. In this new position i saw the darkened room in which i was sat, but to my left was the being on his controll pod. It was as if he was always there, or at least had the ability to always be there. He kind of spilled into the room.

This has happened a few times now, the first time it happened i was so convinced i had my eyes open i would have bet my house on it.

I never experienced this before i started journeying with the spice, and it has only appeared on my most recent travels. Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen or is it just me??

If your eyes are half open, half closed and anything like the way my eyes work, then your eye lids are probably fluttering ever so subtly which may be enhancing the visuals as well. I've gotten this on ayahuasca after smoking DMT where I close my eyes, but I'm so out of it, they unconsciously sort of open half way and I find myself still in my closed eye world but with open eyed information of my environment.

i know what you mean by the flickering and i have experienced the effects before, but this feels different some how. Its not that they are half open and half closed, they are completely closed but there seems to be 2 resting positions within the closed eye position.

I guess its just another aspect of spice journeys that i will never work out.
