So a friend of mine offered me a job "tree trimming"...in eureka, ca...some 12 hours driving time from me, and I've no means of transportation (no car) and it being short notice my time frame for departure would be two days from today. Now, I may be able to get a ride situation figured out but if that fails I was wondering... Does anybody have ideas on the best means, and cost effective way of traveling from Lancaster, CA to Eureka, CA? I've checked trains and that would take two days and countless transfers and buses, walking is a nine day quest and airfare is just too Damn expensive. Any input would be greatly appreciated. one way economy car rental - on the return trip you can afford to upgrade. Watch your back, and other joints as well.

Craigslist rideshare post ads. Hitch hike. Greyhound. Post a sign up in a local coffee shop. Things like that...

Check Greyhound, Amtrak, etc. "But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. That would take much longer than 9 days to walk.
If I were you I would take the bus to Mammoth, get off in Lone Pine, hike over Taboose pass to Yosemite Valley, bus to Merced, then to SF, then train up the coast. TaDa! Would take a couple weeks though, and need to be summer.....There is a train that goes from Union Station to SF and SF to Seattle, yes? Take metro link downtown and your golden?

But all is well, I had a slow start but I'm well into, the swing of things, I realized that sativa is the only way to go for me and I've made a good impression so this may,be an,annual, thing for me now ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) ill keep posting as events roll in, and ill post some non-incriminating pics when I get the chance, happy trails. Growing MJ in California is legal these days if you're working with a legit group. If not, maybe you should keep the pics off the Nexus? Glad to hear you made it there safe and sound. Best of luck with this opportunity. ![Very happy](/forum/images/emoticons/grin.png) "Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored." -A.Huxley
