Hi all,

Well i eventually attempted to take the plunge i have been wanting to do for the last few years but its was only partially successful.

8g mhrb, i believe my brew here was a failure
200mg caapi copy

Here is a quick description of what i experienced

25 minutes after consuming 200mg of Caapi copy i drank the mimosa, after 40-45minutes i was feeling rather sick, as i lay in the dark i saw a flood of images, mostly faces, lot of faces doing very strange and evil scaring/obscure things, but all of this was very very dark and hazy with almost zero color or clarity, for around 5minutes there was some faint color with basic fractal imagery and for those 5minutes and felt lovely and warm but the color was still faint pastel type and not distinct at all

Question, All the dark imagery with the faces etc, could this be caused by the caapi copy alone? and the brief bit of color and happiness was my failing mimosa kicking in?

My guess was that the mimosa was generating the majority of the visuals you were having. Caapi copy is known to be unreliable and from your report, my guess is that the caapi copy is where you went wrong. You should either brew up some caapi or do something with rue.

The reason I thought it was the Mimosa was because my end brew was very milky red in the end and pretty easy to drink. Also I used egg white to try remove tannins which is what seemed to turn the brew from deep dark red to the mentioned milk light red.

Just had a thought. I have 100mg harmine freebase kicking around, would this plus 100mg Caapi copy possibly make for a better maoi?

I will get around to trying with proper caapi once my order arrives ;-)
Last question I promise, is a milky red solution a normal result from brew used with egg white. This was filtered many times, another note is the brew was super bitter and lemony :-)

I never do the egg white step, but I can tell you that my mimosa drinks have been milky red in the past. My guess would be that 100mg harmine + 100mg caapi copy would be more reliable than 200mg caapi copy, but that's just a guess. How may I ask do you have the harmine freebase? Did you extract it yourself?

It was a free gift from an online supplier after receiving the caapi copy, will give it a shot and see if there is any improvement & report back with the result's

I don't know if you have any spice laying around, but if on the next shot, you find that things aren't going as strongly as you'd like, take a rip or two of a small amount of spice and that should have you up in the stratosphere for at least an hour.

Wish i did m8, not got around to attempting an extraction yet, it's on my to do list though
