Agreed. It was oddly quiet, . . . anticipatory on the street yesterday afternoon. And now with the entire world looking at that video of the 2-term Iraq war vet getting injured . . . anyway, I want to let you know that most of the action has been happening around 14th/Broadway and 14th/Clay and that Shpongle will be in the Telegraph/17th area, which is fully three blocks distant either way from the heart of the action. So . . . if you want to avoid it you can, but if you want to check or join the tent city, it will be easy to walk there after the show.
One thing we get a lot of is helicopter flyover noise Hopefully it won't penetrate The Fox.
One final thing. Outersect/Rob Rayle is one of three scheduled openers. I really love his work - please check it out. I am on his mailing list and received this welcome news worth sharing:
"I've been told that (unlike the Warfield) there will NOT be ushers
telling people to sit down if they dance in the balconies.
Personally, with Simon Posford bringing Raja Ram and the whole
band to California for the first time, I wouldn't be anywhere else.
See you there!
Peace,
Rob"
This bodes very well indeed.

"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."-Rick Doblin, Ph.D. MAPS President, MAPS Bulletin Vol. XX, No. 1, pg. 2Hyperspace LOVES YOU
