I just got done recording this demo, and I've been eager to share it with you all. It's called "Clock of the Elves" and it's an allusion to the playful and wacky twisting and warping of time when the elves come to town. I feel I should mention that there are very few effects at play, and it is still a rough and unfinished work, but thought I'd give everyone a sneak peak. Feedback appreciated

Very cool. Is that a Tibetan bowl in the background? Very fitting title to the piece. I'd love to hear more.

Oh and the vibe change-up towards the end is dope.

The only instrument in use here is one electric guitar (Vigier Excalibur Bumblefoot Signature). What you hear as a Tibetan bowl I'm assuming are harmonics within chords that are clashing off of each other. I still have to flesh out more sections, add more melody, do some reorganizing and so on, but when I finish it, I'll be sure to post the final mix. If you like what you hear, you may like some of my other compositions

When I listened back to it, I actually got the same impression, though I wouldn't say that it's Floyd influenced. When Syd Barrett was in the band was easily my favorite period of Pink Floyd. The later Pink Floyd just doesn't do it so much for me. Whenever people ask me if I like Pink Floyd, I always respond, "well I like the Early Pink Floyd."

Anyway, I've also made the track available for download. Take it with you to hyperspace if you will Wink
