Hi everyone, I'm in the process of creating an informational web site (non-profit of course) in my native language about ayahuasca with the intent of spreading the word out to people who are seeking spiritual exploration, personal growth, relief of mental problems and so on.
To get average Joe interested within the time frame of a typical person's attention span I envision gripping and engaging quotes to be listed on the front page.

So what has the spirit molecule done for you? I'm particularly interested in people who have had their lives changed as a result of ingesting the drug, and thus feel they enjoy life more as a direct result of an experience they had with it.

The site will mainly be discussing Ayahuasca, but if you've any such experiences from pure spice I'd also love to hear.
As one of my sub goals is to call for legalization of this wonderful stuff, I'm more inclined to hear "therapeutical" stories as opposed to crazy time travel stuff as the former will probably sound better to legislators etcetc. You probably get where I'm going.

I'm not asking for page long reports, just a sentence or four that sums up the what good the drug has brought to your life.
If you already have a trip report with relevant, quotable content written somewhere, don't hesitate to post the link in this thread.

Here's what the spirit molecule has done for me:

Quote:
I used to be suicidal and confused having very low self-esteem and seeing no deeper meaning to life. After taking Ayahuasca I regained my childish curiosity and love for people and nature. I also discovered that my subconsciousness carry memories of unpleasant events that I need to work on, and I'm now going to therapy for this. I can't imagine what my life would look like in 10 years if I hadn't stumbled upon this all natural medicine

Thanks Smile

I used to be agnostic with a very strong, but empty leaning towards atheism. Now I'm still agnostic, but thanks to ayahuasca, I have a much stronger, more affirmed leaning towards the existence of a god. Ayahuasca has also shown me that there are pleasures and euphorias that exist that are beyond most people's abilities to even fathom or consider that they even can exist. Ayahuasca has re-imbued my life with meaning and a positive outlook which has lead to nothing but good coming back my way. It has shattered my materialistic urges and assuaged my fear of death.

D has made me stronger and a better person. I won't elaborate furtherWink

PS. I have never seen or heard of a medicine that works for so many things. When it's something that's already within ourselves, it definately knows where to fix the problem or teach a lesson.

Spice has shown me that consciousness is not as grounded as I thought, and that you can go places you never thought possible by inhaling simple organic chemicals.
It has shown me life is far more mysterious than I ever thought.

Ayahuasca changed my diet. I eat healthy foods all the time and it isn't a pain trying to eat well. I prefer the healthy foods to stews, burgers, pizzas etc. I hardly ever get indigestion and when I have a bowel movement it rarely stings, which used to be a regular occurrence when I ate loads of processed crap. Maybe I would have started to be more health concious as I got older but when I started drinking it it forced the issue and now it's just normal eating habits.

Before DMT I was lost. I went through life with no purpose. Just getting through each day one by one, and it continued to get harder everyday. Not a day went by that I hadn't considered that dying would be much better then living a life for no reason. Before DMT I was a no good drug dealer. With no life goals other then the pursuit of money. I left behind me a trail of disappointment and pain everywhere I went. It helped me to realize all the wrong I was doing, inspired me to be something greater, and has given me a purpose in life. Now I am currently working hard to go back to school to study psychology so I may help others in need. I am also now working on opening an underground clinic to provide free DMT sessions to addicts so that they can have the same opportunity to change and reform that I had. The day it becomes legalized and accepted for what it is. Is the day that the sun will never shine brighter in our world.
Let the Tao flow through you. Be the embodiment of it so throughout, that when passed by on the street they say, "Look! There goes Dao!"

After my first experience with an unweighed amount of spice (unkown origin) i smoked my last cigarette. I feel like a have a greater appreciation of life of all livings things (including bugs). I was always a "haveta see it to believe it" kind of person, now I'm more open minded. I was raised catholic, but when i became interested in science my religious beliefs became almost non-existant, and never once had any idea of what "spiritual" was or meant, id never experienced anything i could call "spiritual", until my first usage. After my first use i became interested in different things, i wanted to learn how i could become more spiritual, i wanted to learn how to make dmt for myself and to introduce it to others. Thats when i joined the nexus. Ive met many of my goals since smoking, but still trying to learn how to integrate my experiences.

That is very cool.

So, I've seen and heard of so many people giving up decades old drug addictions, starting to eat a healthy diet, have a more positive outlook on life and so on.

For myself, it opened up the other worlds and the wider nature of existence, truth of the unity of humanity. But I also stopped seeking mystical experiences and started to focus on my physical life and what was before me, and just stopped seeking anything else as a supposed remedy what was going on inside me.

Dimethyltryptamine rent and ruptured and turned upsideways-downover all my hardwired beliefs and preconceptions, unhitched my mired and empty assumptions and opened rivers of thought in the rivers of my body, used heavily eroded channels to carve new creative neural streams that led me to conceptualize and inadequately articulate new ideas about myself, my consciousness and this vast ocean of reality in which we paddle, swim, wade and sometimes drown.

Other than that - not much. Cool

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Beautiful. Simply amazing.

She has taught me all about acceptance. I used to be uncomfortable with myself and my identity and she has brought me to a place of peace. I used to try to change who I was or put up false images but she has taken all that away. I'm finally content and at ease now with the process of life and death.

It has taught me more than anything else in my.life .
It is my sacred and divine teacher . I am slowly transforming
Into a better, loving and more understanding person .
It s depths are real and simply miraculous . I am more greatful
With each passing day .

"just let go"

that seeking the furthering of knowing oneself and ones own hidden/subconscious intentions is not only uplifting but rewarding to no end, if you are willing to integrate that shared knowledge in a meaningful way in ones own life.

that sometimes when you smoke changa on a wooden bridge in the forest it starts to pour down rain so as to wash the scum from ones truest eye.

that there is an ever expanding woven connection between all beings and the love you feel towards your family should be shared with all people as we are one.

infinity described with a language i have no "formal education" in, only somehow it has been etched into the very core of my being so that when the launch day came and went i had the very faintest recognition of habit formed instinct hidden away which for only the briefest of moments had the light shown on it.

Ayahuasca quite literally saved my life. I was psychologically addicted to DXM, suicidal (I took 400 mgs of morphine in an effort to off myself once; I was luckily unsuccessful), and extremely self-centered, stealing from those around me and just generally hurting the people I knew because I knew their emotions "didn't really matter". I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which runs in my family, and at times I went through intense bouts of depersonalization, essentially believing I had no control over my own actions.

Through ayahuasca I learned to love being alive, I shed all of my suicidal thoughts, the depression and mania; I was completely cured of bipolar disorder. I have been off medication (something I used to require to function normally) for a year and I no longer exhibit the symptoms that I once did. I also haven't touched DXM in a year, nor do I ever plan to again (the thought of it makes me feel sick). I have seen what I did to hurt people, and in turned gained a sense of empathy for my fellow human beings, which has only increased exponentially with further ayahuasca/pharmahuasca use.
I am seriously making all of this stuff up. No, really.

DMT changed me from a card-carrying, athiest-nihlist of over 40 years in a mid-life crisis into a spiritual being that is both skeptical and open-minded. It also taught me to face my fears and where they came from. It cured my lifelong insect phobia. It taught me deep, loving, quiet acceptance.

Light ayahuasca brews cured my lifelong depression as well as nearly two decades of miserable, bloody, IBD.

I am healthier and happier now. I am thankful and recognize the pure blessing of every single exquisite breath.

Peace & Love

Intense breakthroughs with spice alone pulled me back from the precipice of suicide. If this sacrament had not forced me to view my own funeral, and experience the emotions of my family as they watched my body being lowered into the ground... I would not be here writing this.

Ayahuasca and spice together have replaced my anger towards myself and this world with love and a desire to help this planet and its inhabitants. I have become a vegetarian, do yoga, exercise, and try to live my life in a way that will result in a clear conscience next time I approach the spirit realm.

"Love, Humility, and the Pursuit of Knowledge" seems to echo in my mind whenever I think of these gifts from the earth.

I have been blown apart and reassembled a more content, happy, and spiritual person. I have seen the most wonderful things, and felt the touch of a higher power. I have communed with creatures made of light, and bathed in terror and fear, and each of these experiences made me grow into a rounder more content person.

DMT is a magical gift <3
