Hello all Recently I got into the world of DMT, great experience and big thanks for everyone that wrote useful information about it on this website! Couldn't have done it without you! Apart from the experiences I also started to make some pictures of the crystals, photography has always been a hobby of me, here are the first shots. (Plus a shot of my pipet-pipe i use for smoking.) I Use Q21Q21's Vinegar-Lime A/B DMT Extraction Tek 2. It gives my almost white Crystals straight after the pulls, much better then my lye tek attempts. Although I also like to wash with Sodium Carbonate and recrystallize, just for the love of purity Kind regards, Sebastian the Netherlands Sebastian attached the following image(s): DMT Crystals 2 small.jpg (515kb) downloaded 1,310 time(s). Very beautiful Sebastian, I have never seen DMT like that on the first picture. Thank you for posting it and add some more soon We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.

Thank you for posting it and add some more soon Well thank you Smokerx. I realized that and I too was surprised to see such crystals, I have noticed there are many ways you can grow that, temperature, size of container and impurities all have their effect on how they "flower". But I love how they truly look like flowers, that made me really go like: yes now I understand why they make you see the geometric shapes and giving you a sense of that universal understanding when you trip, they are the flowers you become in that moment. I AM thinking of buying some more camera gear (lens extensions for super-macro photography) to get better pictures, no promises but the chances are certainly there that more meterial is underway. Although growing beautiful crystals seem to be the real art in this case peace

Awesome!!! Thanks a lot for these beautiful pictures!
What camera did you use to take the pictures?
How many times were they recrystallized to get like that?

Hey all Thanks so much for the loving replies! The camera is a Canon 30D digital DSLR (8MP sensor) with a 100mm Canon Macro lens. The normal macro's are done with the 100mm macro, and the real closeups are made by placing a 50mm lens reversed to the front of the 100mm macro lens. As for recrystallization; the first photo on this page (the ones looking like flowers) was made after one recrystallization, but as you can see a lot of yellow can still be seen. The second picture (the real big transparent crystals) are made after a wash with Sodium Carbonate and then recrystallization again, that really helped to clear all impurities.

how does your smoking apparatus work? Do you mean how effective it is? From a beginners point of view; pretty well, inhalations are always effective and strong enough for me, much stronger then a light-bulb vaporizer for instance. The hole of the pipet is pretty small so it encourages you to take long deep breathes, not short big ones. The downside is that the small hole gets blocked after a few uses and requires cleaning. That might be a good thing too, it encourages you to do clean sessions It is a cheap pipe and very portable, easy to take with me when i take a walk into nature, so i like it. The opening can break a bit easy while cleaning the pipe, but a few windings of metal wire near the opening can take care of that. peace! Those are some cool looking flower crystals. Im also interested in different crystal growing techniques. Now that the cold weather is in I'd like to see if it has any impact.

Thanks, and I am sure it does make a difference. I work in a organic food store, and one of our bakers told me once how even the slightest changes in weather can effect his baking process. In different times of the year he uses different amounts sourdough to ensure a constant end product. Not only temperature but also moist and pressure can effect all of these subtle processes.

This truly is beautiful work. Ive been into photography the majority of my life, especially on the micro lvl, 5 stars. “We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.” -Anais Nin

I was amazed to see that the crystals were grouping perfectly, and even again after bumping the Petri dish by accident. Also it seems that most crystals face all to one direction, north maybe?
