I thought you were talking about DMT OEV's this whole time, but I can see you're referring to LSD. The whole "grid" thing does make more sense in the context of LSD, however would be a gross oversimplification of DMT OEVs. DMT OEVs for me are much more complex, potentially asymmetrical, multidimensional, representational, thermal (they can feel hot, whereas none of the surrounding space does) and tactically interactive (i.e. you push them and they will push back). They are much more than purely visual phenomena for me, especially at higher doses.
