SWIM is getting a vial, but unfortunately putting it in a fridge/freezer doesn't seem to be an option. He would like to store it in the ceiling in the basement where it's slightly below room temperature, but no light obviously. Would this be a bad idea? Any practical way of lowering the ambient temperature in the ceiling?

You could put your vial in a thermos that you fill with ice from time to time. Wrap the vial in aluminium foil and put the thermos in your closet.

Wow. Thanks a lot. I was trying to think of something like that, but I somehow fell short. You just set SWIM's mind at ease.

what kind of vial? amber vial? or liquid vial?

Liquid vial, you can just store in a dark cool place, no need for tin foil. Amber vials you'll prob want to store in a fridge though...

care to expand on that ellis? What do you mean with "liquid vial" as opposed to "amber vial" Amber is just the 'color', but it can still be liquid and amber? or am I missing something? Why amber vial in fridge and other not?

And why no tin foil around liquid vial? I mean, the tin foil is for preventing light, and if you are gonna keep taking it out from your storage place to occasionally use it (and therefore exposing to light), and if the vial isnt completely non-transparent, then def I would say wrap it in tin foil.

I have a decent amount of experience with storing liquid. I've kept an amber vial,in a closet at room temperature for over a year. I've never noticed a decrease in potency, and I do wrap my amber vials in foil just to exercise extra caution.

I've also kept candy with LSD dropped on them for months, and the doses have still been fine. As long as you're not exposing it to air, light, or heat, your doses should be good for awhile.

Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

I have had some paper wrapped in foil for a while in fluctuating temperatures, i have not been able to stick these in the freezer.

i am just curious has old L ever been said to have different effects or lower potency.
