Hand fulls of ayawaska for days. I was no longer counting, I was listening to the dogs going crazy in my neighborhood, and I was wondering why they were...
My laptop decides to go to sleep, it has to update, it says. So I put it down and let it die a little bit and lay down underneath my ayawaska vine.
Facing West with my ear to the inside of my acoustic mattress I began to hear it rising. A low frequency sweep occurring, rising in amplitude-
I am three stories up and my apartment begins to sway as if the ground has a nervous system and it's eaten ayawaska too.
I know these shivers, and I give in. Anything could happen in moments like these. This could be the end, this could be the beginning. I heard the earth moan. I felt it quivering and adjusting itself into place. I felt the aftershocks move through my life.
They rocked me into a golden glowing trance that I just now awoke from.
I felt the heart beats of the humans in my sleepy proximity attentively increase in frequency as we were left with the temporary realization of just how futile this really is.

Was this the east coast quake on tuesday? Yep, I was on aya. It was an incredible experience. And no, this was not on the east coast, this was last night. I checked the local seismic activity and I think it was a 4.something, not sure. Aftershocks into today, as well.

Wow that's really crazy!! close one...glad to know that you were unharmed. do you think that the steadily rising pitch that you heard was "physical sound" from air pressure waves at some frequency? or was it an "energetic/mental sound" that would not be able to be detected by our current sound frequency detectors? because if the sound was not 'physical', and cannot be read via detectors, then i wonder how dogs and other animals can become aware of upcoming earthquakes.. ..and if the sound was indeed physical air pressure waves, then why is it so hard to predict earthquakes? ..anyhoo, i bet it was one helluva ride!! ..its good to have memories like these in retrospect <3

It was the sound of the earth literally shaking. I've always wanted to hear that.

I remember one time watching a massive tree fall over while on acid. Mother nature has such amazing power. PS

Wow how incredible this must have been house, thank you for sharing. Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness." — Terence McKenna

Amazing, I didn't even realize there was an earthquake happening there, you made that verse so free-flowing and not plot-driven. I really am interested in Aya now after reading this.

I remember waking up feeling reborn plopping down to my computer and just writing it out. Was by no means a big one, but the biggest one I've felt in some time and this was almost 2 months ago. It was also the deepest journey with ayahuasca I've had in a long time, and I usually always dose around the same amount. Life's weird like that. Ayahuasca is good medicine.
