Hi! Im 18 too. DMT found me for about 4-5 months ago. I don't have the chance to try it now, or in the near future. But I'm sure that that's the best way to have it. We two are still young, and we have a lot to learn. I just bought a book about DMT. "DMT The spirit molecule" by Rick Strassman. Do the same thing, read it, learn it. Read more facts, stories and stuff like that. Some one told me once "If the DMT has find you, be sure that you are ready to find out how deep the rabbit hole goes". Are you ready my friend ?

There is no rush to explore such a powerful compound, but all that preparation will come in handy! And yes, the rabbit hole goes far beyond anyone's imagination. Who are you referring to when you say things like "I'm 18 too" and "we are still young"? I'm confused...

I think he was referring to the poster who was just banned for being 16 and pretending to be 18. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein

I was 21 when I first tried DMT, but I had been looking for it or thinking of extracting it for 3 years up until that point. DMT can indeed be a very powerful experience, especially if you manage to smoke it properly. For some reason, you could have all of the purest DMT on the planet, but if you don't know how to smoke it properly, you won't think it's capable of very much. Anyway, I'm always surprised by the amount of disaster stories I see here at the Nexus because out of the numerous people I've administered it to as well as the innumerable amount of times I've partaken, my experiences are incongruent with these disasters. DMT personally strikes me as exceptionally forgiving in terms of set/setting, though if I were to go on what I read, I would be forced to tell you this isn't the case. DMT will treat everyone differently though, and everyone will treat it back differently as well, and I think this two way street is both an important relationship to maintain as well as a being a set of factors that make it exceptionally difficult to talk about how powerful the experience will be or how ready you are for it. Some people will have an intense experience and think that they don't need to touch it again for a while (or ever) while others could have the same exact experience, and think, "well, I could do that again!" Speculation about how things will go won't get you very far, but if you decide that you are gonna do it, then you just gotta make sure you got your set/setting straight and then take the plunge, and 5 minutes later, you can decide how you'll proceed with your life from there. I had done a lot of LSD back in the day and didn't even know about DMT till I read Strassman's book. Yes, it is powerful. But I would recommend that you first explore this reality before you jump into other realities. That's like a baby going sky diving...what's the point?

Yes, it's more powerful than you can imagine, and goes beyond any one of us. Of course depending on the dosage, how intense it will be on you.

Wish id discovered dmt at 18, it may have curbed my interest in amphetamines and mdma at that age. I was taking acid and mushrooms at 13, maybe too young but I dont regret anything. I dont think waiting another ten years is going to make any difference to the power of the experience, everyone says it, can take all the acid or mushrooms in the world and dmt will still blow you away, no matter the age or life experience. You say it found you be4ter, funny how these things find you when they do, there is no rush of course but I would personally reccomend that you do indeed smoke it, as I said I wish I was 18 and had discovered dmt!

Yea but just because someone discovers psychedelics at an early age, doesn't necessarily mean they will benefit from it, especially if their intent is recreational instead of spiritual. I found LSD when I was a teen, but I didn't realize its spiritual benefits until I got a little older and more mature.

Good point but then it could also have the opposite effect of making you see its more than just recreation and you could benefit from it, certainly did with me! That was the point I was making, I was 26 when I first smoked it im now 31 and since then and using aya my recreational drug use is very rare.
