Mother earth that provides us everything
we have taken this herbs with the purpose of expand our spirits
let us fly beyond your care
we yearn to visit the place where you come from
we know that within you is the knowledge to explore the universe
let this plants take us to the infinite places
show us that we deserve to see
help us with might be to big for us
that are humble travelers free from desire
show us the way to you if we astray

This would be a great prayer to say before using any entheogen. I hope I'm not alone in this, but i always try to remember to say a prayer or short thank you, just to show some appreciation towards gaia, even if it's just cannabis. When I remember to, it always brings such happiness to my high/trip.

I like it. Its always nice to say a little prayer before embarking on such journeys of the mind and spirit.

A lot more poetic than the one I usually say but as long as its honest thats all that counts!
Mine usually goes a little like "Please show me what I need to see, whether it be good or evil. Give me the courage to face it with understanding and bring back the lessons that I am suppose to learn."

I guess my catholic spiritual formation makes my prayers a little longer hahaha.. im very glad you like it guys.

I usually try to give thanks, so my end up sounding along these lines,

Gaia watch over me
As I come closer to you
and leave myself behind
thanks for those teachers
who uncloak us
and leave us bare
to see the truth.
