Someone linked something about this in the chat a few days ago and i came across it again today..sounds like a lot of bull, but i'm interested. i'd like to see this evidence they're claiming to have found

Shameless promotional gimmick imo. If there was truly something important that needs to be said concerning the fate of humanity in 2012 I don't see any sort of logic or good will in waiting until right before it happens and charging people a movie ticket fee to get this supposedly vital information.

Well, I agree with that; but all the same it will be really interesting to see if they have evidence that is a little more definitive. Things like the Nazca lines (Peru) are so intriguing.

I don't personally feel a sense of impending doom in 2012; at least, not because of the Mayan calendar. Every calendar ends somewhere! Y'know, maybe they just ran out of rock. Or maybe it was meant to be a "perpetual calendar," like in the phone book, only on a larger scale.

I maintain that the 2012 phenomenon is SOMETHING, however what that something is I think no one can ever know until the purposed date comes and goes. Now whether this is the commonly believed end date of Dec 21st 2012 or the Oct 28th 2011 end date popularized by Calleman (which is scarily close) remains to be seen. Only time will tell.

I will say that myself and others included just have this unavoidable intuitive feeling that SOMETHING is coming. This is about as hard to explain as the psychedelic experience itself, but there is an understanding I have that something has to happen one way or another.

It's all total BS.

I can say to 100% certainty that on dec 21st 2012 the chances of something to happen out of the ordinary (like aliens granting us eternal truth etc.) are exactly the same as the chances of it to happen on april 5th 2043, or august 9th 2025, or any other date. There is absolutely no proof at all anywhere that something of that magnitude will happen on dec 21st 2012.

Although. What will happen after 2012 is that we will finally get an end to all this annoying 2012 talk. This will grant me eternal peace of mind.

But some smart guy will probably say "Oh but there was an error in translation! The NEW correct date will be bla bla bla"

"Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond" begins shooting on Nov. 15 and is due for a theatrical release in late 2012, before the end of the Mayan calendar.

Well shouldn't they release the "information" sooner? If it's more than just way to get audience for the documentary, I think it would be released earlier...

This was a pretty tell all sign for me too, unless the 'secret' information is that the Mayan calendar has been totally misunderstood in our present times and has nothing to do with 2012 and if that's true what's the point in seeing it?

The depiction of the beginning of our mayan era has definately connection for the ending of our mayan era IMO.

In the eleven gods vase he's in front of the guy keeping his hand like squeezing his fist.

Notice the same details in both vases. Just look at their headpieces, postures and outfit. Also on both vases the God L, on the right has the big feather on his(maybe dmt ) Pipe...
The vases seem to be made by different artists, however the details are the same, this could mean the mayans knew about the gods much more than we could imagine.
